We're looking into it, yeah. Something that will realize the benefits of a blockchain while also relying on the trust created in the social network. A sort of hybrid between the standard Bitcoin approach and the Gateway-based Ripple approach, relying both on a chain of custody (timestamped ledger) as well as on Synereo reputation. This will allow this neo-blockchain to scale in throughput without issue and without encumbering nodes with huge, global ledgers.
We'll migrate all existing AMPs to the new tech, of course, if/when this happens.

can check daily stats. of everyone folding with name structure of username_ALL_bitcoinaddress
FLDC is on counterparty but it doesn't matter... can use same Bitcoin address to distribute Omni asset

It's not that banks will disappear, as they still have many valuable services to provide - it's about shifting the balance of power so that they can't exercise so much control over you. To create a situation where you choose to use their services because they're beneficial rather than being forced to because they're the only way to participate in the economy in a meaningful capacity.

We further discuss Ethereum’s Proof of Stake protocol that Greg’s leading the design of using Synereo technology, talk about dev work done over the past week, and have the whole gang give their take on the best growth vectors for Synereo. (Dor thinks it’s building a giant out of midgets.)
Another important announcement is about Synereo’s newest team member, Jed Walls. Jed will be directing a coordinated marketing effort and handling public relations as well as developing the Synereo brand and coordinating our growing community. Welcome, Jed!
