Fired angry ‘ex-co-founder’ with 10 million AMPs working day by day on his revenge.
But don’t worry. Things could be worse, I guess.
In all honesty I don't think it is fair to put all the blame on 1 guy. If the guy wasn't delivering, it should never have taken 3 years to get rid of him. It is not very professional to keep a guy working 3 years for you and then put all the blame on him. It looks to me like they needed to find a black sheep to blame in order to not get blamed by investors. You are working on a project as a team and everyone in the team is responsible for the results. This blaming game happens too much in companies. I worked in many companies so I know how it goes. I remember 1 time a team leader was trying to blame me for a mistake someone else coded. That was the most crazy thing I ever experienced. She was a new team leader and because her project was failing she tried to find a black sheep to blame and she was freaking out so much that she started to randomly blame people instead of looking who was the person that programmed that part of the code. This whole Greg story just looks exactly the same. Synereo didn't deliver and in order to look good in front of investors they needed to put all the blame on this 1 guy so investors can say: "Oh you see. This is not Synereo's fault. Greg is the reason for all failures.".
A second thing that is not very professional from the Synereo team is that they said last month that they deserve to sell their founder AMP because they did an amazing job. I was really shocked. Or the team has their bar for success very low, or they only care about money. But neither of these 2 possibilities is a good one. They only delivered a browser extention in which you can AMP stuff. So what they are basically saying is that they deserve millions for this browser extension. That sounds completely ridiculous.
But what makes it worse ... look at profitgenerator. I think he is full of BS. But you have to give it to him, he really believes a lot in this project. I am convinced he put a lot of money in it and he will hold AMP even if it goes to 0. That's the kind of attitude I would expect from Synereo also. They already made enough money during the ICO's. But apparently that is not enough for them. They want to cash out their founder AMPs. If you would be like profitgenerator and believe AMP would go x100-1000, then would you sell now ? By claiming their founder AMP Synereo is not only showing that they care more about money than their product, but that they don't believe their coin will go x100. At the same time they show all investors that were ruined by AMP crash after the ICO their middle finger.
Sure, in theory the project looks very nice. Unfortunately, the way Synereo behaves doesn't.
