62 off lease Core2quads Q9400. I wish I could overclock them. Plus the odd bulldozer and 4770K OC.
All of that gives me 17.2Mh/s.

The guy with 110Mh must have a server farm like Amazon or something.

it's different algo, Quark variant, and maybe miner not very much optimized yet

Thank you, I understand it is different, my hashrate of each E3 1230 V3 is about 400K, am I mining correctly?

Looks about right, I thought 1/2 my rigs were down but its just that the algo is harder, CPU needs to think more.

Been mining on a chromebook with the wallet since launch...still nothing. Cant get the miner to make for some reason. Feel bad for me? Thanks in advance.

well thats your own choice... can either go solo, get lucky and get good prize, or unlucky and get nothing.
Or play i safe and do the pool, where u get garanteed small payouts....

Any chance we'll see a 32bit version? The OP posted version of the Windows CPU miner only works on my x64 boxes.

I added ./minerd -a anime -o stratum+tcp://ani.minepool.cc:10010 -u xxx -p xxx to "target" after the "minerd.exe", but when i double click the miner shortcut nothing happens.

You dont edit the minerd. You edit the bat file that is supplied, or create your own bat file. Then doubleclick your batfile to start the miner.

minerd -a anime -o stratum+tcp://ani.minepool.cc:10010 -u username.workname -p 1 -t 2 -D
pauze

minerd starts program
-a is algorith to use... this case anime
-o is where to go, website/pool
-u username (username.workername)
-p password (workerpassword)
-t number of threads to use
-D debug, shows debug what miner is doing

pauze, pauzes the screen when program stop running.. very usefull when its not working.. cause itll stop then and tell you where it was originally haning, aka, not connect, wrong user...etc
