So since like no one mine Animecoin and the exchange disable ANNI because no block was found since yesterday, I decide to give a try by throwing my laptop to mine Animecoin and found 3 blocks after a few hours. I suggest you do the same because hashrate is very low now. Any dev could step up ?

You're absolutely right, but it doesn't have to be like this. We can improve the situation but since there are so few of us, we all need to put in some work to make Animecoin alive again.

I do agree Animecoin needs a lot of work. And this work is the responsibility of us Animecoiners: Each person who believes in Animecoin is supposed to do something within his/her reach to improve ANI.
Anyway, I have been keeping my Animecoin-qt wallet running (and solo mining) 24/7, and I always have at least 6 or 7 active connections... at least it means I am not alone

AnimeCoin is just progressing slowly forward until it unfoldes its unique form.
No volume is needed : better to develop users without speculation on the price. Animecoin is a currency : if it can be used to buy services and items (not to buy and sell other currencies), that will be a greater strength than most other coins.
Yes but right now there aren't many services that accept animecoin, and if they do accept ANI they also accept other more popular alternative cryptocurrencies undermining Animecoin. What we need are anime related services that will only accept Animecoin for cryptocurrency payments. This will make Animecoin actually useful to people. I really have no idea how to do this though.
