Correct my if I'm wrong, but so far DBIX is just a hardly working ETH fork with little dev activity, the only reason to use it would be that it's not created by infidels? Or does it have any outstanding features?

LMFAO

how about a NON WORKING FORK

can someone tell me how to get this piece of shit wallet to work

You are wrong Smiley
But hard just to go to the website and just invest 5 minutes in reading the information there what are the intentions behind Arabian Chain (DBIX is just a part of it).

I checked it, and it sounds like Arabia's Ethereum, with Thuraya as Arabic smart contract language. So I'm still wondering if it actually has unique features compared to its ancestor. I mean I could just fork Ethereum and call it EuropeChain.
you are 100% right mate!
this is no tech revolution here-but the great value of this will be if the arab population in dubai will start use this coin (companies or just the end user).
I was mine this for 2 month I am leaving this project for now but still not sell the coin in case of winning somehow.

Yes, Arabianchain is what it is, nothing revolutionary, an open-source blochchain tech, the coding is made to be easier, watch the youtube clip.
The team aims for strong security. The CEO is local. The Islamic Banc might choose Arabianchain, being patriot. Palmex exchange is also interesting. Duabi $ into Dubaicoin... I think it is to interesting to miss. Everybody should own a few dubaicoins. If the islamic bank starts to put money into crypto via Dubaicoin it will  hit big and fast. Just a few coins for everybody.

Ps dont forget, blockchain tech allowing coding in arabic, first of its kind!

"Thuraya

The name comes from the Arabic word for the constellation of the Pleiades which is a cluster of connected stars with a lot of stories to tell. Thuraya will be the first smart contracts programming language in Arabic."
yes very true!
te dbix aims to put islamic banking through DBIX and they are working on that
if that's happen it makes dbix fly and i also agree with everyone has to buy some little amount of dbix for just incase
and thuraya is under developing who know when thuraya will be release and after that everything will be good for dbix so
i have already bought some DBIX and wait for some good and big news from dbix team

How many currencies do you know with Arabic smart contract language? Smiley
They will also provide a new Exchange for the MENA region and to bring crypto currencies to the people, it's important to have Exchanges representating this region.

In addition, Dubai has with Dubai 2020 a major blockchain project which is leading in that region and whom they will trust more, some experts coming from that region understanding their culture or some foreigners? Wink

When you unpack the 2.2 wallet archive, it still says 2.1 all over the place. They either screwed up the release package, or did not adjust the version number. Anyway, still crashes for me.

STILL DOESNT WORK

SHITCOIN ALERT

I am using Linux and always start the gdbix --cache 1024 in a seperate task/window until it connects to the network or at least 1 node, then starting the wallet gui too. works fine tho

you should try the same on windoze, cmd -> gdbix in shell and then start the gui/wallet client

After almost 1 month that the dev made the "Adding DubaiCoin DBIX to Shapeshift" request and only 15 people supported the request?
Just create an account which takes 1 minute and vote ... With 35 more people to vote and we are in first in the list with the most votes.

https://shapeshift.zendesk.com/hc/pt/community/posts/115000559090-Adding-DubaiCoin-DBIX-to-Shapeshift

That is how it often works. Everybody is crying about the lack of exchanges and so on, but nobody is willing to fill out the request within one minute.
