jakiman is back!
Does anyone know when the first vote ends (when they pick the first coin)?

I don't think the voting "ends" as such. More like it shows Cryptsy and to the public which is most popular and is most likely added next.
So as long as we stay within the top 2, I reckon we will get added next to no time. I've casted my vote!!

...Till know at Cryptsy 0.08354352 BTC paid for buying votes for UTC.

How many of you are willing to do a BTC donation to Cryptsy to get nr. 1???

At this moment  1,4 BTC is needed to get nr. 1…

All Mazacoin holders have made huge profits so have plenty of spare to spend on votes. Also every member on Cryptsy gets to vote so many people will only know about Mazacoin as it's been in all the crypto news this week so they will vote for that :-(

It would be so good for UTC to win the first vote though! All the publicity and everyone will know who won and talk about it. Winning the 6th vote won't get any attention so wouldn't have the same impact IMO

Does anyone know when the first vote ends (when they pick the first coin)?

Good question... important question also.

Anyone know's Huh

Didn't someone say they would pay quite a few bitcoins the other day when we was in free fall, as they had over 100k of coins and wanted to protect their investment? I can't look properly to see who it was because I'm using my iphone at work lol

I will put in .25 BTC towards a Cryptsy vote buy.  Who will match me?  Bumface would you be willing to set up an escrow address for this?  I will if not, but I'm not well known 'round these parts.

this company is apparently 1 guy with one helper. he seems to accept payment in crypto, I've seen offers of a few thousand coins to a million (for infinitecoin). If you read through the thread, he talks a little about scrypt-jane and n-factor. What I wonder is what the "base" functionality of a wallet needs to be - just download the blockchain, sync, send and receive? If so, that shouldn't be too difficult (although I'm no expert).

mobile wallets doesn't download the entire blockchain, that's why they are called lite-clients
a lite-client downloads just the metadata so syncing is done in a couple of minutes compared to hours or days
sending/receiving is not what you really think, you just tell for a transaction to be put on the blockchain and read it after
so yes it may sound really simple but the problem is in parsing the metadata from the blockchain and transaction creation and broadcast

Right - there is a lot of open source available, so someone should be able to do this. I've done android programming, but mostly typical ui programs, not something like this. Hopefully someone else will offer to do this.

this is a good discussion about android wallet creation: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hashengineering-android-wallet-creation-service-336215

this is a company that creates these, but hasn't figured out pos. There's a lot that goes into doing this.

the android wallet doesnt need pos
BUMFACE what if you give a donation FOR ADD to cryptsy

already did
