Facebook Campaign: Let's get this launched by tomorrow evening at the latest. Its alright if we are short. More donations will come in as time goes on. Thoughts?

Personally, I'm happy for it to start at any time but it would have been better if it was on CT at least. Ah well.
Do you have it all ready to launch tomorrow? What will it look like?

What kind of hashrate should I expect from my r9 290?  Highest stable I can get is about 80kh/s with I-13, tc 1600, e 999, m1440

Is this about right?

170kh/s on my 290. dig thru some of the earlier posts in this thread, there are 3 different flavors for a 290 depending on brand, system ram, and version of OS.

Veni. Vidi. Vici.
good news

UTC is alive on ecoinfund.com now.

here its  bitcoinTalk Support Thread

Nice. I have to add this and the c-cex.com to the website. Its nice to see LTC/UTC trading at 1:1 there. Tongue I am assuming just test trades.

I added the charity and beauty products shop, but we definitely need to validate their legitimacy other than word of mouth confirmation.

Dear all,

Anyone know how to config and make a 7790 run UTC, I've tried many settings, but all of them lead to zero Acc and lot of HW  Cry

The latest attempt: I14, Tc7000, G800, M1500:

---------------------------------
[P]ool management [G]PU management ettings [D]isplay options [Q]uit
 GPU 0:  45.0C  36%    | 16.66K/17.24Kh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:16 WU:0.0/m I:14
 GPU 1:  46.0C  36%    | 16.33K/16.84Kh/s | A:0 R:0 HW: 9 WU:0.0/m I:14
 GPU 2:  49.0C  35%    | 79.64K/82.21Kh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:52 WU:0.0/m I:14
 GPU 3:  47.0C  36%    | 16.64K/17.24Kh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:10 WU:0.0/m I:14
 GPU 4:  52.0C  40%    | 16.66K/17.24Kh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:10 WU:0.0/m I:14
---------------------------------

Thank you!

I do not have that video card, however, with this coin I have to have my intensity set at 11 or lower or else I get nothing but errors. Try lower intensity first?

EDIT: I may be wrong, but your TC seems awfully low for mining this. May be best to confirm that from someone else.

with 0 Accepted / rejects I am thinking your not using SJ Huh

my r9 290's  are solid 110 kh/s / GPU @ 900mhz throttling disabled

*edit*
 Cheers "Halofire" your 170kh/s got me thinking
now I feel like I have been ripping my self off, I didn't think the R9's could go much higher with TC little own TC being raised would lower HW errors !!

"thread-concurrency" : "32765", ( had to run at I 13 for 0 HW)
110 kh/s @ 900 mhz

"thread-concurrency" : "56320", works !!! with 0 HW @ I 18 Huh
160 kh/s @ 900 mhz

I was planing of playing with GAP today , but it seems i am down 2x rigs after shutting them down when I lost internet

1x Rig all cards just run flat out and nothing happens
*edit*
common issue with a batch of cards I have leave power off for a few hrs they work again
thinking related to my dedicated PSU's issue seems to pop up when i turn PC off with out killing power to aditional PSU's

the other rig cmos got corrupted somehow and can not get chasis intrusion detection to piss off
*edit* fixed known asus issue .. had to do some creative soldering to bypass resitor

Hey guys,

 I use SMOS and was trying to install the miner.  I unzipped the zip file, then I ran

./configure --enable-scrypt --enable-opencl

It however ended with this

Configuration Options Summary:

  curses.TUI...........: FOUND: -lncurses
  OpenCL...............: NOT FOUND. GPU mining support DISABLED
configure: error: No mining configured in

What did I miss?  I am thinking either it is not compatible with SMOS or I should have put it in a specific place.  Any help would be appreciated.  And sorry if this is the wrong place for this post.

Phad

CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native -I/opt/AMDAPP/include" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib" ./configure --enable-opencl --enable-gpu --enable-scrypt-jane --enable-scrypt

and you need to copy needed files into ADL_SDK Folder .. their should be a readme file their ...

Bumface you never answered me. Why will they (Cryptsy) not add Ultracoin, although they know there is a ton of demand for it?

i dont work there, i dont know.

and you can forget about btc-e at this specific moment....there is not nearly enough demand or community size for btc-e. we are talking about the industry leader here....not about nannas apple pie shop

at what Price / Mined Coins / Volume, is your target goal for it to become the
"specific moment"

So I've been trying to mine this coin for like an hour now. Got the miner up and running, but my 270X's are only pulling about 100 kh/s a piece. Here's my current settings:

{
"pools" : [
        {
                "url" : "stratum+tcp://pickaxe.pool.pm:3306",
                "user" : "xxx",
                "pass" : "xxx"
        }
]
,
"scrypt-jane" : true,
"sj-nfmin" : "4",
"sj-nfmax" : "30",
"sj-time" : "1388361600",
"api-listen" : true,
"auto-fan" : true,
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-fan" : "30-85",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "1120",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"kernel" : "scrypt-jane",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "84",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"temp-target" : "74",
"worksize" : "256",
"thread-concurrency" : "16384",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"intensity" : "18"
}

Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I definitely won't be mining too much longer if I can't get this fixed.

You're lucky to be pulling 100kh with a 270, I only get 85-90kh with mine... the amount of coins you earn will still be the same though, it just seems like you aren't mining fast

yeah i got stuck with aurorastain. bought at 120, watched it fall to 70.... back to 100 now... instant results do not lead to instant gratification. FML. i have no problem holding though.

I dont trust AUR to buy into it, I feel like its going to crash hard anytime now... Risk simply isn't worth it when there are trades that will give me just as much profit without the same level of risk

UTC is far from dead. it has 9000 satoshi to go before it reaches the realm of LTC/UTC. Even if it fell below 1 satoshi, it's still worth money. At this point, the coin has stabilized enough for long periods of time to promote usage with merchants. Less volatility, more secure transactions for merchants.... Let's dev that mobile wallet!!!!

Simply not possible for it to fall that low, total supply is too limited .. generally the coins that fall into that realm have billions

Being real here, it can go as low as the public wants it to go. Don't ever think it's entitled to be at a certain price, high or low, cuz it's not. yes i do agree the value won't go much lower, based on what you say, just be aware there can be a time that mining actually cost the miners money to mine the coin and it holds true to any coin.
