Damn that MAxcoin!!! also now on cryptsy, in 6 days from start its on al the big exchangen and have a valua of 3$..
what went wrong with UTC and what is doing MAX good.. if we sort that problem meby we can still fix it?

UTC does seem like it will have lasting value. Max doesn't.
...what is going wrong is very simple :
There is almost no trade in UTC.
Because of this its stay's a not important coin for traders.
Crypto-Trade keeps UTC small and the coin can not grow because there is no serious trading volume at all.
Serious traders are not to find at Crypto-Trade and if they will try the will run the hell away because low volume in combination with a not working, slow and stressful server of Crypto-Trade....
Off course we must be happy Crypto-Trade was the first Exchange who put UTC on...but why they did so fast, just because there are no other serious coins with serious future want to trade there...they put there coin on bigger and better exchanges....
The lesson we must learn her is that UTC can only grow, get stronger and will be noticed among the serious traders is that we hit some major exchanges...
Fait is good.... but without being on Cryptsy, Bter or BTC-E there is no future for our beloved Ultracoin.
So I can onley wish UTC gets in on the big exchanges in a maximum of 1 or 2 weeks... That's what we need !

I keep heraring ppl saying that it will last.. based on what, seriously.. all i see is that this get coin get dumped whenever ppl have the chance.. Where do ppl get the confidence from, looking at the past 2 weeks?
I, as a bagholder, wanna be confident as well..

cryptotrade is useless only thing you can do on there is dump.
trading is now impossible.
Same as coin market impossible to use site has no graphs and trying to look through the orders is painful.
please get some where to trade this coin before it gets dumped to 0

Are the more coins what at start doesnt get accepted to good exchangen, and later on they do and it still explode and be a coin for the future?
Or is meby and im just guessing that UTC have no exchange followers because bumface is the dev of the coin.?
Like meby cryptsy wont add it just to be a troll because btc-e is a compatheder to cryptsy etc?

I wanted to know if anyone could shed some light on my hashrates if they are running as high as they should be.
Basically to make it simple my most optimal configuration is 584 Kh/s on a 280x, is that a good rate?
I have another one that runs at 567 Kh/s but all GPUs are not created equally.

im running two and am getting 574 ish each stable at coolish temps (64c & 62c Australia Summer). thats running --G2 8191 TC, 1065 GPU, 1500 Mem.
Ive seen postings of people claiming mid low sixes with G1 high TC and high clock 1075
and 1700'ish mem clock. Too hot for me here right now I believeAh: forgot: you are tuning each separately ? eg with comma delimitation ?
eg --gpu-memclock 1500,1550 --gpu-engine 1065,1070
they do respond differently on sometimes small changes. Slower is not always the wrong direction to go either. When I go over 1070 on one card it just drops into the early 5's. Yet at 1065 it runs in the 570's. Same with memory. Around 1500 seems best. But YMMV
The cards i'm using are gigabyte 280x with factory core oc of 1100 and I did have everything set individually per card in the batch because I believe one has a different ram manufacturer which always caused it to work poorly on higher clock speeds with normal scrypt. Though after reading both of your posts I had the idea to switch back to default clocks of 1100,1100 and now i'm getting a solid 595 & 592 Kh/s @ 65c (though its located in a basement so the ambient is nice and cool)

There are some IPs in my debug.log, the ones my client connected to would be considered nodes correct?
I suppose but they are probably not static. So static node ip's is what I am looking for

I like the UI from crypto-trade, and their fiat deposit/withdrawal options.
They are loosing so much potential only because the site is soo slooowww.
Hope crypto-trade has already ordered some server upgrades.

I agree it has a lot of potential but they are affecting the growth of this coin. Hopefully they get their crap together soon or we get on cryptsy and mcxnow

Without comment on valuation, the mining aspect of UTC has been pleasurable from a 2 year old miner's perspective.
I've found myself just mining it for a while without much weight given to anything else outside of testing its algorithm and measuring performance/efficiency of my farm. Based on that alone, I hope to see support grow for UTC.
