CudaMiner

After trying many different ways out last night I managed to get CudaMiner to start mining me some Ultracoin I grabbed a fresh Ubuntu 12.04, installed Cuda 5.5, cloned CudaMiner from Git (and this was crucial as Ultracoin settings were added in the code only yesterday! https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner/commit/ec3f4d3acbcb70b17049a1d9d8d4dc3b936c220d) hassled around with the settings a bit and it was working smoothly!

These are my steps:

apt-get install gcc git rsync libghc-curl-dev automake
dpkg -i cuda-repo-ubuntu1204_5.5-0_amd64.deb
apt-get update
apt-get install cuda
export PATH="/usr/local/cuda-5.5/bin:$PATH"
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/cuda-5.5/lib64:/usr/local/cuda-5.5/lib"
git clone https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner
cd CudaMiner
./autogen.sh
./configure
PATH=/usr/local/cuda-5.5/bin:$PATH make

Then run:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/cuda-5.5/lib64 ./cudaminer --algo=scrypt-jane:UltraCoin -o [pool-info] -O username:password -q -l 70x4 -H 2 -C 1 -S &
tail -f /var/log/syslog #miner output is logged to syslog

-l was set to 70x4, haven't been finetuning that one yet but it was one of few that actually worked. Any advise is more than welcome!
-H is set to 2 as 0 or 1 would result in 1/3 hash rate compared to 2

At the time I was done last night the eyes closed automatically so I haven't had any time for fine-tuning (or doing something about the library paths for that matter).

When this hits the trade it will probably start x10 that amount. This coin has a lot of promise and huge interest. Lets all get rich $$$$$$$$$$. Its not like doge where theres billions there will only be 100mill coins

I spent many hours to try to understand how to MINE UTC on Pools or even Solo...

Finaly I was able to make a little but WORKING Bundle with all Tools and Pools that I used and tested and YES its really working now  

First of all I would say a BIG THANKS to everyones that inspired me as my sources

As I said it is just a little bundle, I'm not the original DeV of those tools, my job was only to understand how they work and how to add personnalized settings for my Hardware Configuration.

The HARDWARE that I used to do it is working under Windows 7 x64 (Properly configured as a RIG) + one Graphic Card ASUS ATI HD 6990 Dual-GPU (You will have to personnalize settings for your Graphic Cards inside the embeded BAT files)

Remember that my Graphic Card is a Dual-GPU so you have to take a special attention to this parameter (-g 2) inside embeded BAT files and to set it to (-g 1) if your Graphic Card is Single-GPU.

For the Pool-Mining part everything is working well, but same as many other peoples for the Solo-Mining part I wasn't able to get something else than A:0 R:0 in Ultracoin-Miner and CGMiner Interfaces even if I got some Best share        HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED

The next step for me now is to be able to make a little WORKING Bundle for the LINUX Tools especialy for BAMT or other Dedicated Mining Releases

using 6970atm and only getting 220khs :s ?  normaly i have 460 khs with these setting i know Jane give lower hashrates but this is like 50% less my r9 280x's are going 570khs  instead of 760khs  which looks more reasonable.

I have them heavily overclocked in afterburner as well. 1100 core clock and 1500 memory. I strongly recommend not overclocking as much as me. (I live in a very cold climate) Give those settings a shot!
