Same here, keep losing connection with Stratum 0 then picking back up. I am guessing this is the multipool switching coins. I'm not sure if I had this problem mining Scrypt but right now I am running X11. The miner keeps picking up the connection and dropping it, not sure why.

Looks like there are problems. Miners keep losing connection with the pool.

Are you still using the mining rig u have ordered to buy UTC?

Can someone answer this very important question please

im getting my ROI first on a multipool that pays out BTC, and then il put some hash on the UTC multipool
FWIW my asic will not work at the UTC multipool. It works everywhere else including other multipools. I've triple checked everything and have no answer as to why this is happening. I hope someone has an answer because I bought it to specifically mine at CryptoTrain.

Try again now Nano, I have raised the starting difficulty to 512. This should be enough to compensate for ASIC's.
Looks like that fixed it. No more rejected because of low diff so far. I'll let it run over nite and see what it looks like in the morning.
Thanks.

@CryptoTrain-net

I am just curious and want to understand.
The Multipool is up and running.
Already there are some miners who put there rigs on the multipool.
The multipool mines the most profitable coin.
Then those coins get sold.
Then UTC coins are bought back.
This trick must push the UTC price up.
But if I look at the price of UTC now I don't see a big difference.

What do I miss here ?
What do I not see ?

The problem is the multipool does not have anywhere close enough workers to make an impact yet. Upon having all 3 algorithms working perfectly and a high enough hashrate. The price will increase dramatically.
We are currently only buying 4000 UTC a day. Once that picks up, the coin itself will rise.

OK. Thanks, good answer.

Why do you think there are not enough workers that step in ?

Do they don't know about the multipool?
Is it to difficult to put workers on the multipool ?
Or is it the problem of temperature of summer for the cards at this moment now ?
Or is it some other problem ?

+1 cryptoface, I am curious as well but have also some patience for the answers.

Price is still low now so I will buy some cheap coins before it goes up Grin
But it would be a very good sign if the heavy investors seems to be some long term community members like that paulr1 who "proved" themselves already instead of some "new" investors who are just in for quick earnings by pumping and dumping.
We are in need for long-term investors and a smart management team whom really believe in UTC

i just released wonderfull news about a powerfull group who will back the coin, and somehow some individuals want to spin it into something negative again...

very interesting  Grin
thanks for the update Michael, i can understand you are not able to give detailed plans yet but can you tell us more about the investors, are the long term heavy investors who we might know from the utc community such as paulr1? Or did you attract investors who were not investing in UTC before?

So we go a pretty solid week of positive energy here, and you make a relatively positive announcement about the future of UTC which includes handing over some of the management tasks and marketing to build more capital AND people still need bitch and moan at you.

It would be pretty funny if all that negativity didn't come at a cost to everyone else invested in UTC. Getting investors with the right resources was/is a smart move. Let's hope they meet your expectations and we see UTC increase in value.

Thumbs up!

UPDATE AS PROMISED

Dear Ultracoin community members,

I am happy to share some new and positive news about the future Management of UTC.

Today I have completed my 3rd negotiations meeting with a team of Dutch investors who believe and plan to invest in the future of UTC by re-starting several developments.

I see this as a very fruitful and welcome opportunity for UTC and I believe it will give a positive boost for the long term.

The new team of investors have my full approval, and we are discussing transfering the management of Ultracoin to them, and this also entails passing along full control in desicion making to this team.

Off course I will stay in the new team as a Strategic Partner and as member of the Dev Team i will lead several (new) developments, such as the minecraft plugin.
At this upcoming days we're working hard to give further shape and to develop the plans for the best future of UTC.

The new investors have the financial backing and marketing skills in order to make Ultracoin a success in the long term.
We will provide you the upcoming period with several updates about the progress and plans of the new management team.

I ask all UTC'ers to have a little patience before we can tell the plans in detail. This wil take about two weeks.
I have started these negotiations in the best interrest of UTC,and i believe this team can provide what the coin needs.

Michael.

WOW thats great news!! I just bought 6000 extra utc...tomorrow will multiply by 10 at least!

UTC TO DA MOON!!

Richardminer, if a troll is someone who has mined from day 1 and just sold 30k utc then I'm guilty. Check my posts and you will see positivity about this coin, trust me I've helped.

Don't you question bumface?

NO I don't !
Some decisions I don't like.
But I believe he is doing the best for UTC.
And he is free to do things he like to do how he do.
Let's look at the future.
Look at the good news of a new management team and new investors that are coming.
They will never invest if there would be no future for UTC, but they do.
So look at tomorrow.

Just want to say CryptoTrain has done an awesome job with the MultiPool, please support him and his effort by joining the pool. You have no excuse as it CryptoTrain supports X11, Scrypt and Sha256 mining. I'll be donating 10% of my earnings to his UTC address.

Please try to stay positive on the forum, washing our laundry in public doesn't help anyone holding UTC

what dont you guys understand?

machines cost money, you have to make that money back, thats the whole point of an investment.

i am the only original founder who is actually spending the ipo on utc.all the other guys spent it on God knows what.....

be happy that i am reinvesting it into the coin

how much is some hash?

Before bumface's share in the IPO and assic was to reinvest in utc, he has conveniently forgotten that and now want ROI in BTC  Grin

He's cutting his losses and running, I've just sold my utc an advise others to do likewise. You could have made something out of utc, if you had worked at it, you didn't and asked others to instead  Shocked

Guy's, guy's, guy's....

You are just trolling, attacking and sucking blood and want UTC to fail.
Probably you are just two or three sad trollers with numerous of aliases.

Just some hours ago we had good news there will be a new management/investor team that is getting formed who can make things happen for UTC.

And what are you doing, provoking and blood sucking troll's ? Instead of being positive you can only nag and piss black urine and try to affect everyone negatively.

http://creative-ads.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/yoda-talk-to-the-hand.jpg

They don't want it to fail, they want to buy cheap...just like last time when they dumped it to 2k and realized no one was selling at those prices.
