In terms of community, I think this project needs alot more exposure. I actually found this project back when it was up on cryptopia, that was years ago. I do want to see you guys be successful, but I realistically don't think alot of people will have an incentive to hold if the value really does go high enough.

Well, the issue with that is that I don't think that you can force people to hold in a free market. If people see enough value and profit, there's always someone that will sell. Out of curiosity, in such a situation, is there any incentive for people to hold?

Currency AURUM COIN AU – Distributed (existing) Bitcoin-based open source named Aurum Coin (symbol AU) with a maximum of 300,000 coins.

AURUM COIN INC- A technology venture that includes code development, wallets, banking system, trading site and more. The company will hold a controlled amount of AU coins once a quarter and a quantity of gold in safes.
Income sources:

Well, the concept is good, but there are alot of issues with that. The first and probably most important issue would be the price. It's easy to ask people to not sell, but when a price goes up substantially, people will want to take profits. It doesn't mean that they don't believe in the project per se, but by taking profit, they can buy back in cheaper in addition to being able to invest in other projects

Perhaps if there was some kind of incentive of sorts to make people hold their coins? (outside of perceived value)

Hmm, a halving...nice! I think that can inspire people to invest in this project and gold is a pretty good safe haven. But I also still have some questions regarding this project. Do you know if its backed by a verifiable source of gold? If you guys can demonstrate that, I would imagine that it would charm alot of investors / potential investors

The price  AU coin will now rise sharply as soon as  S&P500 markets collapse and gold goes up
