Last weekend, BankEx took part in the final competition of Anti-Hakaton OPEN FIGHT BIZZ, organized by the largest private bank in Russia. Two teams from BankEx were shortlisted for it out of more than a hundred of applications, along with 13 other first-class projects.
The BankEx team got the 3rd place with the idea of lending secured with tokens! We got an invitation to meet with bank's top management team and an offer to make a pilot project this year. The director of innovation noted that the idea is 'very innovative'.
Our second team called "Bargain Factor" presented the concept of factoring on the blockchain. The team have made the most memorable presentation but did not manage to take any award as a similar idea has been already realized.
The hackathon was great! BankEx has new ideas and supporters, with whom there will be negotiations. We are waiting for official photos from the event as well as publication of the results on Russian media.

The National Settlement Depository (NSD) is planning to develop a platform to maintain digital assets. Igor Khmel, CEO at BankEx, commented on this news in the “Kommersant” newspaper:
“NSD is a member of a consortium of the largest settlement depositories in the world. Some of them might join the protocol that NSD is currently working on,” – says Igor, – “This can lead to gradual changes in legislation of different countries, which will then enable the creation of new channels for transborder fiat-cryptocurrency transfers and the mobility of capital”
