First I heard about Beam on social media and started to search and finally made my way to this thread. There are good recommendations about this mimblewimble protocol based coin and that us pretty awesome at this stage. This project shows when you have something real to offer how quickly people get it and start to come towards it without proper marketing in early days. I started with last article to polish my knowledge about it.

Do we have a list of pools for the launch and from what I read, BEAM will be 144,5 parameters correct?
Where can I find details about mining details and how to mine from day one?

As I see you dont have token sale, so how coins will be distributed? You will have airdrop for community and how to get coins if yeas? Or here will be just mining?

Installed the wallet on Ubuntu 18 without problems
open wallet - asks for password
I enter the password --> wallet just disappears
(I update the system) always same result / 1 time it asked to send error report
