I could be wrong but the parmimutel isnt used at all in American sports gambling, save for maybe horse racing. You said it's used at betfair, that's mainly european football betting right?
Everything that has "win/lose/tie" can have parimutuel bets, not only american bookies but most european bookies do not have parimutuel odds because parimutuel odds elimitates the "house take"... so i guess they do not want that.So how will the odds work in sports where tie is not an option? Bc that is most american sports

check out betfair volume. tons in sports. they have another part called the exchange.
and the fees they charge. I can see extreme sports take a nice chunk of that volume

the smaller ico money affects the rate at which the marketing can be used to grow it mostly. But a smaller marketcap gives a lot more room to grow so is a much better investment for speculators.
