Card counting doesn't really apply to our, online, on-blockchain blackjack games.
In land-based casinos, much of card counting centers on knowing the deck penetration, or how far into the shoe the dealer is before decks will be re-shuffled. This is very important information to card counters because they need to know how many decks there are before spreading their bets. Seeing as how you’re able to watch the dealer in land-based casinos, it’s actually possible to get an accurate deck penetration figure.
But in our case, the software does all of the shuffling so you don’t get to see this in person. Worse yet for card counters, is the fact that the virtual deck is shuffled every time, meaning they never have an opportunity to get deck penetration. This being the case, it’s impossible to count cards in online blackjack with any sort of confidence.
Oh is this confirmation that Blackjack is also coming?
