No, we will not require upload the identity for sure!
We are now working on the system. Most likely it will be a secure deposit system for a bicycle that is freezes the deposit during the lease, and then returns it to the bicycle rental.
How if the renting cost is less than bike price? I means if renter deposit is less than the bike price of the owner, then the possibility a renter to runs out the bike is big chance. Whether the insurance system will be used in this case?

I know that my city do not have a chance as it is in SE Asia, plus they are lots of bike sharing available in my country, so I voted for France instead.

Honestly speaking, I think this has a potential to become global, so I am really looking forward to this. Any updates or new information?

Hi, thanks for your feedback and vote. It is very important for us. Yes we plan to launch Bitbike in the spring of 2018 in the 5 most popular cities according to the voting results. And in the summer 2018 after testing and feedback from users we plan to launch the project around the world.

I think this is not a bad idea, something like Uber and AirBnb right? How do you make sure your bike that you rent is unharmed, and is there a GPS tracking device attached or do we have to do it ourselves?
In my country there are bikes around that is placed by the government for people to rent using an app, so I would find this interesting too. Also, what fees do you plan to charge? I hope to see this service soon, in any part of the world! Good luck!
