The recent wave of services transitioning over to BCH is good news I'd say.
Services like Bitpay, Purse.io and adopting BCH in 2018.
On top of that, there are services like cryptonize.it that already allows almost any online purchase with BCH.
These are things the Bitcoin Legacy chain is incapable of because of the sabotaged fees. All of this good news revitalizes the original philosophy behind Bitcoin to be lived through Bitcoin-cash.
That's good news.

With the high transfer fee that bitcoin network is charging at the moment, bitcoin cash can prove to be an alternative but i believe bitcoin will keep its position for a long long time before something else replaces it.
i think btc-cash and other btc clones r diluting bitcoin price and r destructive to the ecosystem. these forks r done by selfish individuals to enrich themselves in the name of fast and low transaction fees.
