Well that's concerning.  I'm running Bitcoin Classic version v1.3.1uahf and get
Code:
$ ./bitcoin-cli getchaintips
[
  {
    "height": 478560,
    "hash": "000000000000000000e512213f7303f72c5f7446e6e295f73c28cb024dd79e34",
    "branchlen": 0,
    "status": "active"
  }
]

I don't get it either. Maybe the developer could clarify? (any pointers to the correct thread?)

The node I pasted from is running ABC 0.14.6

Thanks for taking a look Matt.  Since ABC is pretty much the reference on the deployment rules, I guess Tom Zander overlooked a subtlety related to REQ-1 of the UAHF spec (something in ABC's code but left ambiguous in the spec).

I'll try and look into it but can be quite slow with these things.

For now, I advise people to not use Bitcoin Classic 1.3.1-UAHF for handling BCH, at least not unless it somehow finds it's way onto the same branch as Bitcoin ABC.

Wow. What a way to start

Does anyone have accurate information when we can start trading it on Bittrex. I have balance but Coin does not appears when you type BCC in search box. I presume first lucky man will sell it 1/1.This could be really something. Can someone give us comparison BTC/BCC hashrate?
Bittrex usually holding pause when making snapshot of coins in equivalent size, so my guess that trades will begin not earlier of tomorrow day.

They may be trading it, they may not. But the implication is that as soon as it's deemed safe, they will credit users with the BCC.

Congratulations to the fledgling BCH and wish everyone great success with it. I hope to get just under 0.5 of it I hope from the various exchanges that promised to give it out so am hoping I will see that in my balance in a few days. Will keep it as a souvenir I think.

Agreed.  Between two exchanges, I'll end up with about .7 - probably just sit on that.  It's like getting free Dogecoin with my Litecoin - no real need to mess with it just yet.

What is the hashrate on BCC?

You can't determine this before BCash blocks actually get mined.

#Bitcoin: Current height: 478559, #bitcoincash: Current height: 478558 - has it forked?

Yes it has, and there are now enough tx in Bcash mempool to mine a >1MB block

So, yeah, it happened.

Another confirmation (from Bcash chain)
Code:
$ bitcoin-cli getchaintips

Chain split detected.  Weclome to a hardfork

Yep.
Chain was splitted, but  a block wasn't mined on the new chain yet.
I think it should take few minutes.
Anyway, I am just heading to sell my bcc tokens Smiley

And it begins...

GL to you all and hopefully the fork goes as planned unlike every other coin to date... but maybe one day...

Please listen to those who have been here a long time, they have repeatedly warned everyone to be careful with your privkeys. Even Satoshi knew from the start... NEVER DELETE A WALLET!!!! Essentially that means never abuse or expose your privkeys.

Lets see what happens today!

How can i receive BCC by use the electrum wallet?Do I just send my bitcoin to the electrum wallet and bitcoin cash will come automatically in my electrum wallet?

Its a seperate unrelated electrum cash wallet. Makesure you withdraw your bitcoin n send it to a new wallet! you would need your previous seed from electrum to enter to electrum cash wallet n you should see your Bitcoin Cash there. You probably need to install electrum cash.
