Is this a weekly or monthly event ?

Oh I see this was only Nov 9th Undecided

Maybe also December 7th ?

Man. I'd literally die if it was every week.

I'm talking with other community members and we'll see how often events can be thrown. Right now, the best way to stay informed is to sign up for the newsletter on the homepage.

Black Friday just got 3% cheaper.

With news reports of 78% of bitcoins not being spent, we need to do *something*.

While I welcome discount deals, nothing wrong with 78% of bitcoins not being spent, right?
Just means plenty of people use it as a long-term investment.  I am guessing the fact that it can be used this way has motivated plenty of people to learn more about bitcoin, download the client and blockchain, and do the occassional purchase as well.
More purchases and a bigger bitcoin economy would obviously be good for BTC acceptance and value however.

The 78% bit was more to motivate people.

Hoarding has been pointed out before as an issue, some people agree, others disagree. I don't really subscribe to one side or the other, I merely believe, as you said, that a bigger Bitcoin economy helps Bitcoin in the long run.

Fight fire with photos.

I might be interested in a concealment holster for a Sig 226 and a 228.
What I really need right now is something like an Uncle Mike's Kydex Belt holster for two FMK 9C1's and the 226. Got anything like that?

Unfortunately, no, I don't have those. What I have right now is the Cell Pal, a deep concealment holster. But it will hold anything from a LCP sized semi auto, up to a full size 1911. So one of these will be all you need to fit those. Here's a site with some info. It's not my site, because I had taken them off and just set up the page for Bitcoin Friday. I don't want any premature orders, so I'll put my page up at midnight.

Also, I had to look up the FMK. They seem like pretty good guns, I hadn't heard of them before.

EDIT: I went ahead and put the page up. http://shamblindistribution.com/bitcoin-friday.html

WalletBit has halved its fees. This means our Bitcoin payment processing fees are only 0.445%! As long as it is Bitcoin Friday somewhere in the world, our fees will be half off.
