1. We actually just posted it over at Steemit, the blockchain-based social media plattform:

From there we managed to raise 150% in under 24 hours.
2. We have some 20 private investors in BitSpace AS, which currently owns BitGate AS 100%.
3. We decided not to use an escrow because of the relatively small size of the crowdfund (we were just aiming for 20 BTC to get a little boost before the big crowdfund February 9th), and because of our respectively high reputation in the BitShares and Steemit communities. BitSpace has been holding conferences, presentations, workshops for the last two years now (my brother Manuel Lains and I - Christian Lains). Manuel has been leader of the Pirate Party in Oslo and is a well-known figure. Personally I have been one of the most frequent posters in the BitShares community since 2013, was one of the most active posters in Steemit early on, and was one of the first to publicly give presentations on Steemit. We are all out there with our real names, and have a kickass Advisory board of highly reputable, public personalities both from the cryptocommunity and traditional financial world.

what are the benefits for private investors? actually, a business should start locally and establish a trust in their area before branching out somewhere else. Good luck with the project.
