Hello HIRE community!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been busy designing and implementing the payments system for the platform and we’ve taken great care on ensuring our system is resilient to different kinds of attacks. As you can imagine, any platform that involves handling money should have a strong emphasis on security, but at the same time, we still wanted our users to operate the way they have become accustomed to at other places.
So, once we’ve completed some more stress tests and internal testing, we’re going to be rolling out our first update which will allow users to start actively doing business on the site.
This will mean initially, payments, deposits and withdraws will become available.
We’re going to be releasing this update immediately to the site so there will be some down time for the next day or so, however, we’re very excited to start getting the site active and getting all the freelancers onboard to start selling their services!
A notable competitor “fiverr” secured $60m in series D funding to bring crypto payment solutions to their site, and we’re very proud to be able to do this with the much smaller funding we received! Of course, as we’re a crypto platform, all payments will be made and settled in crypto.
Moving forward, we’ve already begun designing the bonus features on the site available to those who have HIRE tokens, and as soon as we have a concrete list of what features will make our next update, you’ll be the first to know!

Good job guys. The market is under maintenance for some reason but it looks like bittrex have listed HIRE!!

Without further ado, please do check out some of the current listings or even better, sign up and offer services of your own, or let others know.
Aside from working on the backend (which itself is an important exercise to ensure we maintain security dealing with money) we’re also going to be ramping up our marketing efforts. These will included targeted ads, video adverts on youtube, and submissions to various media outlets.
We hope that the release of the site marks the beginning of an active and growing community, and that it does bring something to the table which wasn’t there before.
Please note, that the site is constantly under-going work, and this means it may have some down-time as well as some features added or removed. Of course, we will always communicate these in advance to minimise the disruption caused.
