Not sure if anyone has seen the news today about Deloitte investing in blockchain startups, but the Netexplo awards were put on in partnership with Deloitte.  They are one  of the major reasons Bitland has been getting so much press in Europe, and part of the reason we will be presenting at two more conferences in France in June, one in Paris and the other in Aix-au-Provence.  More details to come!

Cheers!

you have to be kiddin me

Based on your sig, it seems like you are heavily invested in that token.  The logo you're talking about is "Smith and Crown" logo, and has nothing to do with Bitland.  Based on what you're presenting, I would imagine the Shadow team and Smith and Crown used the same logo generator, as the similarities seem like they are due to a template...

Again, I have never heard of Shadow, as I really have no interest in the anonymity movement.  Also, they don't seem to be that big as far as I can tell.

Cheers!

I just watched the video from the OP. This certainly looks interesting!

Couple of questions:

In the video you said that the public ledger is attached to the bitcoin block chain, but this is not mentioned in the whitepaper. Have you changed the plans?

In the OP it is said that there will be no minting nor mining. How you are planning to secure the network?

Yes, the plans have changed.  Originally, we were going to go with Factom, as I was working with Factom as a Community Leader.  However, during my time there, it became apparent that their protocol while robust, was not equipped to handle land titles and the nuances that come with disputing, registration, etc...

We have since partnered with Openledger, where we issued the Cadastral token to create our own blockchain that is dedicated to land title transactions.  We will be working with Openledger, Omni, Landmapp, as well as a few other teams to bring this project to fruition, as the large-scale needs are much more nuanced than anything currently on the market.

So, as far as securing the network, the "Witnesses" on the Openledger network will be securing the blockchain, as the MIT created Graphene protocol is what powers Openledger.

I hope that clears that up!

Also, the name "Tabali Tigi" is definitely not common Wink  It is "Mali" for "Master of the Tables".  In Mali culture, the "Master of the Tables" are the merchants who are specialists at selling wares in the markets, but I am a DJ for a local record label, and that name was given to me 12 years ago.

You can check out my music here:

We will be integrating the ICO into the OMNI layer within the next few weeks.  Any tokens not sold by the end of Phase 2 will be sold through the Omni layer with a daily increase in price.  The recent OMNI state of the layer alludes to this, and can be seen here:

https://blog.omni.foundation/2016/05/

Also, do not forget to participate in the current campaign.  Earn up to 25 Cadastrals for 5 simple actions, and enter to win 1,000 Cadastrals!  5 Participants will win.  Limit one grand prize per person.

The idea is very good..but i dont see a big future for the company located in Ghana..if its would be launched in the USA or Europe i would invest..

It's actually quite the opposite.  The Ghanaian government has been working specifically to solve this problem for about 20 years.  Now that the blockchain technology is available to bring transparent solutions to corrupt countries, the people from those countries want these solutions.  In the United States, the land registration process doesn't have as many problems, so launching this phase in the US or Europe wouldn't make any sense.

This project is about developing under-developed areas.  Now there are PLENTY of areas in the US and Europe that need to be gentrified.  We have plans to move into USA and Europe after pilots are done in other countries, but as I said it actually makes much more sense to start the pilot in an under-developed country.

Main reason is the disparate economies allow for much more growth, and much higher ROI for investors.

The Bitland team has already started discussing taking the project to Detroit as an American pilot.

So again, in order to understand WHY we are starting in Ghana, you have to look at this from the POV of the developing world vs. the first world.

In the first world, our solution becomes a method of "Smart Gentrification", where as in Ghana or other countries, it's PURE development.

I hope this explains why Ghana is the best starting point for this project.

To give you an idea, about 80% of the land in Ghana is not correctly registered with the government, where as somewhere like Britain is only at 5%.

Cheers!
