Soon he'll be buying it back with a stupid expression on his face. Would be fun to watch.
170 BTC would probably take this to 30K and beyond, therefor as of right now whoever did it has a major loss of buying power in the BlackCoin market. The only way you can let this guy, or group even, to win, is to sell them back coin for less. This isn't a PoW coin where these whales can have miner+dumpers take care price movement downward. But I won't try to predict the actions of others.

750K coin dump and we're still above this morning's price. Not bad. It really shows the liquidity of this coin. I think Halo news is just too big to be held down for very long. Plus there was hardly any rise before the news, so there wasn't much to "sell the news" as another mentioned.

This market goes so crazy sometimes...
Was that 170 volume downward spike a pure instadump of like 700,000 coins? Pretty crazy that someone with that many coins would just throw them away right now. (Wonder if there's any chance it was a misclick somehow, that would be painful.)
3 steps, so likely intentional.
no idea why someone would do that though. "sell on the news" maybe since we did not have much of a pump but massive buy support had been build up.

The people who post this FUD are all VRC holders who are into the current P&D, they hope to get cheap into BC after they dumped.

For once, can we just not talk about price and day traders. BC has a $10 million cap, and has good distribution and liquidity. Otherwise we would have doubled in price off 300 BTC volume by now, but we're not NXT. And that's a good thing. Because it won't be long until people realize we are the best PoS coin out there without question. You see a coin like LTC or DRK just kind of hover around for a while, and then when they go up, they tend to stay up. It will happen to BC one day. The development of this coin no longer makes a matter of if, but just when.
Like BTC, I just accumulate BC when I can. Those are the only two coins I am taking long positions on right now. With CoinKite and now Black Halo, this is like an altcoin's wet dream coming true. If you told me BlackCoin was going to have a decentralized exchange this summer a month or two ago, I would not have believed you. I'm not going to hate myself a year from now for not buying BC right now, especially when I am right here, right now, following all of this knowing this coin a buy.
Also, it could be a lot worse. You could be sitting in the stock market for 10% per year on average.
Like BTC, I just accumulate BC when I can. Those are the only two coins I am taking long positions on right now. With CoinKite and now Black Halo, this is like an altcoin's wet dream coming true. If you told me BlackCoin was going to have a decentralized exchange this summer a month or two ago, I would not have believed you. they even admit that they want to eclipse the 90k BC run (ofc forgetting that they would need 270+ due to coin supply), which means that exactly the same dump will happen. Such a rise can usually not be sustained and i doubt that VRC will be the first coin or currency in the history of mankind that can do it.
