Yeah it's much more (at least today) an issue of people just loving throwing money at Moosa and company in order to get their coin dumped in their faces... those in the know make tons... those that dump their BC to jump on the Crypt pump late... wind up with less of everything.
I wonder how many people lost their asses on UTC only to now take even more money to chase CRY and wind up losing a second time to the exact same people.
It's like the crypto-world is full of gullible housewives and there are 4-5 silver-tongued insurance salesmen literally cleaning out their savings on a weekly basis. Ah well, eventually people will start to get smarter and actually consider the fundamentals of a coin for at least a few minutes before throwing their whole nut into it.
Or at least I would like to think that will be the case - but depending on the day it seems that most crypto-investors are exactly the same kind of idiotic sucker that my town (Las Vegas) was literally financed by. It's funny that a number of them ideologically agree most with cryptos because they feel that the IMF, central banks, and their respective governments are running a giant ponzi scheme designed to slowly drain them of their wealth... and then they fall for whatever the fad-coin of the week is every single time.

No features? There's tons of altcoins with worst features. Features like not working and outright scams.

I think litecoin will be able to take dumping out of by miners for a long time still although you can see it has lost ground against btc lately. So while other POW coins will be switching to POS(or face death) to protect there coins litecoin has enough hashpower not to fork at this stage.
So blackcoin will be fine for awhile, sure the multipool will continue to make less profit but while litecoin prices remain above $9 it won't be a issue.

Appreciate the well considered response vizique, and am glad to know that the Foundation has given thought to the matter. I agree that the marketing plays a big part in the perception - there is a lot of leeway to define the brand.
On another note: my partner is a mosaic artist, and awhile back I asked her to make me a BlackCoin coaster. Now my morning coffee sits in style!

I am not going to beat around the bush!, that agency so far has done sweet FA. Nothing. I did not expect anything to be honest.

I must admit, that concept has been in the back of my mind the whole time I've observed and traded BC.
As shallow as it is, the name is always going to form the initial, visceral first impression.
I think a proportion of people will always shy away from that. (Perhaps) It isn't a mainstream-friendly name in the same league as Bitcoin and Litecoin. It carries inevitable connotations of separatism as it's very identity, and perhaps that separatism will always passively work against the desired end-game of universal adoption.

It's a good name. It has an air of exclusivity. The whole aesthetic of this coin really puts it up front when it comes to irl adoption. I can picture it already.

A fair point and well made and certainly something we have discussed at length for some time. IF, and thats a BIG IF right now, there were to be any change it would only be to drop the word coin. Black has been used for the delivery of understatement, class and exclusivity for a long time. Dark and mysterious etc etc. Theres a lot of positive you can do with Black.
We have been immensely fortunate that the particular group of which you speak is not present and never has been present within the ranks of BlackCoin or any other coin what from I've seen with one possible exception of, right at the beginning of Whitecoin there was some noise being made about race and certain anti groups. Fortunately these got squashed very quickly. This IMO is an excellent indicator of the general intellect of the many that reside in crypto. It IS a generalisation of course as there will always be one or two people that will defy that convention. C'est La Vie.
Ultimately its a marketing game. Get it right and theres no issue. Get it wrong and all hell would break loose. Fortunately for BlackCoin we have surpassed all that negativity and are heading into the chosen domain of high value, understated class. Being able to buy an Airplane with BlackCoin does help in that regard
