very low amount of btc traded on eveerycoin today :O (the calm before the storm! everyones cashing out of other alts to get ready to get back into BC!)
Yeah, I was looking at Mintpal this morning and if VRC weren't there, there wouldn't be a single 1000 BTC volume coin right now. Quiet indeed. But even with VRC, it's still a very low volume day all around on Mintpal.
I'm a fan of BC (even bought some more on this dip down to 25700), but I wouldn't say the sole coin worth investing in on Mintpal is just BC. There are obvious other coins that still have value (due to features, due to marketshare, due to community, etc). I agree that additions of all the shitcoins is pathetic and I feel bad for those that lose money getting caught up on the next new thing, but I don't agree with your comment about "nothing with value except BC".

wel we also have CoinSummit http://www.coinsumm.it/ coming up which is one I could/would like to attend. £540GBP s no small beans. Total package inc travel is about 1.64 BTC or 6000 BLK and as its just a train journey, the travel is a short commute each day. Your verdict?

I agree with many that SMcKie & another join TheDoge in Washington, meanwhile I suggest Soepkip and the rest of us begin planning for the other upcoming Bitcoin conferences: https://bitcoin.org/en/events

If our Chinese brethren can get together and promote BC in Hong Kong that'd be cool.
London, Dublin & Israel are easy for Soepkip (and many others) to reach from within the EU.

We have the funds left from the Community Bounty Fund that we have set aside for exactly these things. However since the costs are a bit higher then the usual conference visit we'd like to know your thoughts.
The costs would be:
Flight Soepkip - 1300$
Hotel Soepkip* - 250$
Flight TheDoge - 170$
Hotel TheDoge* - 250$
2x Tickets - 600$
2570$ - BTC: ~ 4 BTC = 14200 BC
There is currently 20800 BC left in these funds, so that would leave us with 6600 BC for future usage. We'd like the approval of the community to use these funds for this trip.

what are the arguments for flying soepkip to the US (a 2nd time)? Wouldn't it be better to have 3 local US guys represent BlackCoin for the price of 1 soepkip?
There are many leaders here in the BlackCoin community that could represent us. soepkip could sit this one out.
I would prefer if Soepkips expenses go toward development and to limit his travel to Europe to cut travel expenses and boost development.

I Can't open the Mac Wallet - It doesn't even start. i have the newest version 1.0.6 -> could some one please upload the wallet again (maybe file damaged) or give me some advice?

I'd like to add my support to these guys going to the conference. If the Community would like to support them then that would be great! We have already shown that having "skin in the game" as it were by turning up to these events across the world has a direct and positive impact on our image and the way were looked upon by our peers in the industry.
To date, the effects have been immensely positive and BlackCoin is being talked about and held (!) by Bitcoiners all over the world. Face to face interactions, shaking peoples hands and looking them in the eye is an unbeatable method of networking.
Ultimately though, its up to you guys. I hope you support Soepkip and the guys, especially considering all the marvellous work they have done so far and continue to do!
