I'm all for advertising, but I have to vote this down for the simple reason that not enough people will see it. I would much rather take that same money to use in magazine advertisements where thousands could see them vs. a few hundred at some airport who might get close enough to actually see what is being advertised.
You have my two cents.
Shouldn't there be a way to quantify the effectiveness of each campaign? Shouldn't you measure the impact of every $'s worth of funding on the price of BC?

Side of a building would be more like it. If you are going to do a plane, it'd better be a 747 so people can really notice it. Go big or go home, some little cessna I cant even make out as its miles away as usually planes often are, no point.
The doge car was neat but did they do a race or the whole season because a team typically sponsored by a brand really needs to build up the ilk and the colours to be recognisable for themselves even without the logo visible just the feel of it all becomes soaked in. The brand merges into the team, into the race.
Thats how advertising works really, subconsciously you acknowledge and take it in the context of its environment. Takes more then just a blip of a radar, has to be more of a consistent rising trend and then the consumer becomes more familiar and hey like coke and xmas its just part of the scenery and it seems wrong not to have it there

Haha, it's more about if WE as a community want to chip in for it or not. I think it would be an awesome idea, even 10 years from now there'd be a plane with our logo on it. How awesome is that?

Why would we want to paint an airplane black with blackcoin stuff on it? .. how will that help anyone? .. That's a waste of money.
And what will happen when the manufacturer transfers the coins to fiat? I don't think we have that kind of liquidity yet.

Painting a plane is a cool idea and would no doubt be the sickest looking plane on this planet, but it's not the place to be putting BlackCoin community money right now. For example, I'd rather see $10,000 go to some CoinKite push campaign, where we could bulk order terminals and strategically place them in very high traffic areas, pushing not only BlackCoin, but crypto as a whole to the world.
When BlackCoin is at 300K satoshi instead of 30K, then maybe we could start thinking about paint jobs.

Look what the DOGE Nascar promotion did for it's price. Nothing. The price is 50% lower relative to BTC now.
Each fund raising campaign is going to find it more difficult to raise funds until BC price shoots up. We should put a lot of thought into what we fund next. I'd prefer something more solid rather than a gimmick.

I don't think DOGE expected the Nascar to raise the price or does anyone holding DOGE expects anything but the price to go down. That's just the nature of their currency.
