As I understand it anyone can make a new wallet for Black coin right?
Yes
Well for those of us that want it we Should just put up a bounty for an unofficial wallet with a darksend or zerocash or anon feature.
If you guys have to have this feature, there is nothing stopping y'all from setting up a bounty/ deving this. At the end of the day, this will either be added or it won't,depending on how well the general public views it.

You would not want to see me coming out of blackcoin, you can believe me Kiss

Then you should have plenty of BTC worth to bounty up instead of your measly little 5.

Well, CoinPredator's got a point. He wants to see this happen and offers 5 btc. He asks for others to join in for that bounty. I'm sure others want to see this happen too.

I'm not so sure/ supportive myself. I would prefer an implementation of DarkWallet.. That way- we can keep the core POS and transparent etc. (thats why bitcoin/ blackcoin was designed.. thats our technology for mass adoption..)

+1B. Yeah, BlackWallet - bring it! BlackSend.. something in that direction would be a good thing and a big win for BC. That way we might also get rid of the downward price manipulation cause the volume would spike too high to be worth the manipulation.

Yeahhh let's go for a BlackWallet and BlackSend !!!!

You can set your eyes on Coinbase but they still haven't added Litecoin (even though I think this is a dying coin). Seems like a stretch to think they will all of a sudden decide to add a coin that trades at a mere fraction of LTC/BTC's valuations.

If this is true, a more focused campaign to be added to Bitpay might be better.

As per my post on our subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/264696/with_coinkite_arriving_time_to_push_for_coinbase/

With CoinKite arriving, time to push for CoinBase & BitPay next?

Makes sense as they each have 30k+ merchants using their services - a massive market for BlackCoin's super-quick transactions to improve their sales processes. More merchants for a better BlackCoin future Smiley

Our success is not measured by the current market value of BlackCoin. Our succes is measured by the amount of BlackCoin investors. The more people that hold BlackCoin, the greater our success will be.

Small investors, big investors: 1 investor = 1 value.

Spread word about BlackCoin outside of crypto communities. We got the sexy name and the high potential.

Tongue
so I was also thinking
(im not much of a partyer)(only sometimes)
but that we have blackcoin parties
and the only payment option, is to pay with blackcoin
so basically ppl buy blackcoins that night (Coinkite and card etc)
and spend it to drinks
the next day party is over
and everyone is bagholding
and has headache
Cheesy
and these should be really sick awesome parties
and it should be a thing
to have this blackcoin
for these popup parties

If you like to party. Get this goin' locally!

Best. Idea. Ever.

Android wallet would be nice too... Smiley

I see no reason why one is necessarily mutually exclusive of the other, especially where money is concerned.  Paper currencies and precious metals/stones are routinely used for 'less than legal' transactions - yet that doesn't necessarily reflect poorly on the currency itself (however, I suppose that's debatable depending on who you talk to).

I think the tl;dr is that crypto currencies are popular (at least in part) simply because they are seen as a way of facilitating financial transactions that are at least partially anonymous... and I can't see adding technology to implement/further that being a bad thing.  I simply believe that it should be done as a service and not as an intrinsic feature - that way no matter what people want to use it for... they can. Smiley

Thats exactly what I mean.
And I also think anon transactions will be more used exceptional instead of for common transaction.

I think Exchanges and Shops will begin to refuse to accept them, at least when the first ppl begin to complain about not getting a deposit and there is no way to prove this on a blockchain explorer.

But for the cases where anon transactions are required we should create an external (from coin) service to handle this.

BTW: try to track down a transaction back to me if I send you some coins via Minpal... could get difficult enough for most cases.

This is already happening. Deposits involving anon currencies must be sent from a wallet.

And while we're on the topic: Get ready to brace yourselves again. Another new currency wants a piece of our pie.
