In the case of David Zimbeck, he is his own man and BlackHalo is his baby, neither BlackCoin, nor the BlackCoin Foundation have any say so in what is or is not included. David has represented BlackCoin at various functions this summer, but both Halo projects are his. To me, it appears David is out to change the world on his terms and as of now, it appears he wants to do that in his own way. I am beyond ecstatic that David chose to build his program on the BlackCoin platform, but that was his call as is everything he is currently doing with it. He is coordinating with the foundation and you can expect to hear some surprising news out of David soon.

At end best option to "Donate" is using creating services and donating by low fees if someone like David is making soft he can add %fee that can be changed or turned off anyway for end user is best when he donate small amount and keep software he is using up to date and bug free.
This is best "commercial" option and fair for all.

Foundation need find their way to operate and such mining found is not bad but i prefer direct backup projects like halo coinkite will be best option always.
I hope for foundation minig will be on big + Smiley and those guys will have stable way of founding.

If you're here, I have to assume you're a fan of, and most likely a holder of BlackCoin. The BlackCoin Foundation has set up a miner fund to help us to continue to fund foundation activities into the future and I would ask you to read the following: http://www.blkfeed.com/topic/205/blackcoin-foundation-miner-fund

No.

Whether you want to donate to help us help BlackCoin is your option, but some of us are trying to do the business of BlackCoin and it's not free, that's a simple fact. We understand that there are many BlackCoin holders who are not involved and don't want to be involved, that's another unfortunate fact, but we highly value the people that are and we hope their trust in us will be rewarded. There's a lot going on with BlackCoin that most don't see, but we would love for more people to become involved with your thoughts and ideas. Speak up! "No" is a useless waste of everybody's time. If you've got a better long term funding strategy, we'd love to hear it.

Figuring out a way to reliably fund continued development should be the #1 goal of every coin. BlackCoin has always seemed to recognize that, which is great. A better model than "devs work for free" and "please donate!" has to exist though. I would suggest focusing on building fees into ancillary services like BlackHalo, and route a portion of those fees back into core development.

Yay got 0.7125 stake it says "generated but not accepted" lol what?
If more than one address tries to create the next block only one can win, bad luck but happens every now and then, I (and i guess everybody else) got a lot of them too. In the end you will end up with 1% over the year, no worries.

They are at the same address, just like I said.

Over 3000 confirmation and no stake.  Undecided

Same address yes, but they need to be in the same unspent output as well afaik. So just send all of it in one transaction to a new address in your wallet so they will become one unspent output that will stake.

5050 coins staking.. another 24 hours and no stake..

I give up.

dont give up, just close the wallet and forget about it for a week.  If you haven't already then sweep your wallet balance to another address so it will be in one large input - multiple small inputs will never get stake unless they are left to age for a very long time.
The easiest way for you to stake is once a week or fortnight, open the wallet in 1 or 2 weeks, leave it open for a day it WILL stake/until it stakes and confirms.  then close the wallet and repeat again in another 2 weeks.

Its already in one address. I'll your strategy..

Yay got 0.7125 stake it says "generated but not accepted" lol what?

Deep Onion = soon to be the #1 ANON COIN!
hey guys, I am trying to get Cryptocoinrank.com to add Blackcoin to their list (very strange that it is not on there considering they have over 400 coins).  I couldn't find a contact email, but there they do have a thread here on BCT:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=579901.200

Shoot a reply over there asking for it if you have a minute, every bit counts. Smiley

Thanks guys!
