It can easily be removed in the next version of the wallet.

Our wallet has a Blackcoin card link in it? I have mixed feelings about this. Because if anything were to happen to that website, it could be trouble.

Coin control isn't really a "new feature". I already use my own coin control when I payout miners for CryptoAlts, from both my node BlackCoin and MintCoin wallets. I specify exactly what wallet address I am sending out from, and how much I am sending. If I don't have enough, it will fail to send and throw me an exception. And the second point : you have pass something like 100 generated addresses or so before you risk losing BTC from backed up wallets?

I don't see it as anything ground breaking, however, making it more simple on the user is worth something. But again, to me is sounds like they've simple taken what has already existed through command line and made it more user friendly.

Someone just dumped at the big buy wall at 19K, now the next strong buy support is 18K, we are walking into the abyss .... 17K or maybe 15K in a few days.

a scan QR / import wallet feature would be a killer feature in the QT wallet, as almost every notebook these days has a built in camera. just scan the damn pvt key !

My understanding is from that is that you can download a wallet to create a private key, send it some bc and then the private key can be used to access the bc on a second pc from a wallet on there.

A good feature for a wallet would be the ability to do this stuff without having to type in stuff. The kind of people who we want to adopt a coin won't really want to be messing with ambiguity and code to give a fun gift. But I see this example as a big step forward.

This doesn't seem out undealable with, for us. And would be a good to have a new feature.

However, I think a lot of casual users don't understand what typing "importprivkey <...>" has to do with the QR code and an actual private key at all. You might as well instruct them to click their heels and think of Kansas.
The key part should be more like you "explain it to a 5yr old" :-)

I personaly belive that BC gift cards can be BIG and this is something which i want share with friends.
BC gift cards can be easy option of promotion BC or perfect Gift as store of value for birthday wedding ext.
It is like giving lotto coupon and you play whole life your lotto game.

How create paper wallet/gift card on your own  offline
tutorial from ( http://www.coindesk.com/information/paper-wallet-tutorial ).

1. Download BC
2. Plug off Internet connection.
3. Run wallet
1- Goto the ‘Receive’ tab, where your wallet addresses are listed.
2- Right-click on the address you wish to save, then copy the address to the clipboard.
3- Click the ‘Help’ menu and select ‘Debug’.
4- In the ‘Console’ tab, enter “dumpprivkey” and paste in the wallet address.
5- The console will then display the private key of that wallet. copy it
If you want create eg. QR code go: http://goqr.me later save as jpg and import to word format.

Once you have BC address and private key just replace it in open office templates  and create own BC gift card.
BC gift card can be eg printed on photo paper and laminate.
My version is printable on A4.

To use again BC coins online just
1. Download Blackcoin wallet
3- Click the ‘Help’ menu and select ‘Debug’.
4- In the ‘Console’ tab, enter command (without the <>'s.  )
importprivkey
