Sorry guys, but I am getting scared with BC losing value everyday.  I will hold it no matter it goes ( I am a big supporter of BC), but I would be glad to hear more positive voices here ! Thanks !

BTC is losing value for 5 months and holders don't panic.
BC is losing what % after what % gain ? and your're panicking?

Still holding and buying. We're still the highest market cap & volume PoS altcoin!

Edit: Also blame DRK.

Edit: Buy wall 17BTC @ 21.5K sats and it's gone.

And its back...

I have been watching BC for about 5 days now... My personal view is that fireworks are imminent here... Its a spring being pushed down and down....

And again there are x10 post of people talking about trolls than the whole troll community in this forum.
If you want to make sure IE or god knows which troll is influencing the mood and the market, stop reminding anyone that he is still alive.

THANK YOU! ignore them and they'll cease to be newsworthy.

also, look at those fake sell walls! don't dump your coins!

To any of you naysayers and trolls:  Iconic's thread is open to your theories and opinions.

Anyone with actual questions and concerns, feel free to post here.  Lively and constructive dialogue is awesome and most welcome.

If that doesnt describe you, move on.  Pretty simple really.

Hi Zuep.

The PR Firm actually like the Black Shield concept. I myself have reservations but they thought it would provide a warm and fuzzy feeling to a lot of would-be investors.

Like I said, I am not sold on it. I like the idea of a free free market, but at the very same time the maniulation tactics used by large groups is unsettling. Should thedoge fight fire with fire so to speak? I don't know... I think at the very least it will be an interesting experiment.

The existence of something like Black Shield is totally consistent with the idea of a free market, in fact it is the fact that we have a free market that allows us as individuals to decide to put our collective resources to use in a particular way free from any interference.

I understand how it could come across as anti-free market, as it appears that we are trying to 'correct' the market with Black Shield, however this is not the case. If the whales are free to alter the price to add volatility then we are just as free to reduce that volatility. In the end the market will decide what happens to Blackcoin and that is how free markets should work.

Now, not to call out a troll on the hyperbole, but worst idea ever?  Seems legit.

That being said, I think blackshield is yet another attempt at innovation, and therefore I applaud it.  Where would this country be if the visionaries listened to the small minded - no where.  There is no shame it trying something and having it fail.  There is shame in not trying something because you are afraid that you might fail.

Blackshield attemps to make it riskier for whales to manipulate the market with artificial buy and sell walls.  Is the solution perfect, no.  Will it eventually help redistribute the coins from the whales to more blackcoin supporters - I think so.  What if it doesnt?  come up with a better idea.  If you cant come up with a better one, dont criticize something you cant or are unwilling to do better.

Preach brotha,

The idea of the BlackShield may seem like anti-freemarket in the old sense of fiat. But, here in the world of cryptos, we are innovators. The BlackShield is just another testament to our ever evolving scale of innovation. A system in place to help prevent large-scale loses by a financial mining body whose purpose it is to create liquidity? If I was a banker or investor I'd cream my shorts (they look just like SoepKips's) at the idea. You're telling me I can invest my hefty sum in this fledgling space with SMALLER chances of losses, and even greater odds of massive gains? Sign me the fuck up. Because to the people screaming this is pure manipulation, you're not using your brain.

I think people put too much stake in the manipulation of the market. As the value of coins goes up (their market cap), the chances of being manipulated goes down. If people are adding value by creating new businesses and ways to use the coins, the problem basically resolves itself. Right *now* it may be easy to manipulate, but if people trust in the coin, at some point the value will be to the point where that isn't so easy.

I agree whole-heartedly. I am not one to make too much of a fuss about large sell or buy walls or manipulation in general. It is what it is, do your best to not get involved.

I do find it sad, however, when a lot of beginning crypto folks lose their shirt on a pump and dump scheme.

That's very true fortune143 and not a way I had looked at it previously. Thanks for the insight.

103 days, 21 hours and 10 minutes.
if 22k breaks expect some panic
and why 22? just because it did not happen at 25, 24 and 23 as the likes of you also predicted?
and even if: less people than in more than a month have their coins at exchanges, whoever panics there doesn't want to hold anyways.

Show me my predictions.  I have not predicted anything.  I used the word *if*.

All I said as this

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.6458208

Which I was pretty close on, but it wasn't a troll/bearish post.

How did you come up with those projections? TA? And what's your projection for the next few weeks? Cool

I don't have any predictions right now.  I don't really have to much BC as I used to.  I would like to buy more, but I can hold out for a lower price right now.  I think for short term right now Drk and Cinni have a better chance of out performing BC.

Darkcoin is on fire especially if you look at the past 2 weeks.  Cinni has 5x less coins, so its market can move a lot easier.

I'm more interested in ACTM (btc) security and i'm scooping up as much as I can right now.  I think they can turn things around.

Everything pretty much is a gamble (if you havent noticed)
