Yes, I will be posting there as well, no worries.  I have recently moved so the next few days are booked (I'm taking a short break while I grab some lunch), but early next week when I have a proper amount of time to dedicate, I will make sure all bases are covered.

The logistics of bouncing around between threads on a dozen different forums can become exhausting, however, so I will limit it to the major forums.  Other members of the team, once formed, can expand from there if they feel so inclined.

From a marketing perspective yes, the wallet update absolutely should have been delayed at least a few days, as not to be overshadowed by the other announcements.  Investors ideally want a nice steady stream of updates to maintain confidence.  I see the massive future of blackcoin and it doesn't affect my investing decisions personally, but at the same time I want what's best for the  BC community, and even something like this that may seem insignificant to some DOES make a difference.

I have an extensive background in marketing and business development, and was hoping to be able to help sooner, but my life is very busy.  However, now that I feel I am fully entrenched in the future of blackcoin, I have set aside some time next week to get in touch with the devs, blackcoin foundation, etc to see if they are open to some planning. I'd like to get an idea of their current marketing and biz dev efforts, then present a revised marketing outline and form a core team to execute if there is not one already.

I will post updates here next week as I move forward on this.  In the meantime, if anyone is so inclined to assist in any part of this, please post a reply or shoot me a PM.

More merchants and service providers in 2014 who accept BTC than in 2013. We're faster and greener than BTC. I still think those 2 factors are part of a winning formula.

So what you are suggesting is to manipulate the price even more by withholding some stuff to announce it when it makes a bigger impact?

The thing is, that sometimes coincidents happen. The music vid was planned to be released on August 20:th for maybe 2 months already. As far as I know (and I know), the wallet was released as soon as it was finalized.

Blackcoin is bigger than one person sitting and planning all strategies how to make biggest pump. There are many different players who release their stuff when they want or are ready, no central authority who says when something is allowed or not and this is exactly how it should be.

I understand it is easy to see patterns and conspiracies everywhere when you want to, or have lost on the markets movements but that does not make them real.

You can like BC or not but once you understand that NO ONE is clear leader here and most work is done by community and this is good in long run in short not really but people have to understand that they are creating BC with own support actions.
I wrote that when market falls BC will fall to even after that pump... REALinvestors should ivestors in 2-3weeks after good news as always to avoid crash bubble effect... everybody are responsible for their money you can buy sell BC when you want like that guy

i personally just buy BC i don't play markets sometimes i put 0,5% off all in alt trading in BC to support BC trading.

Personally i don't believe in news pump today (Halo, POS2.0 -was zero pump on falling market )...
Markets are moving mostly by "whales" and we are watching their show.

If you want make BC better with marketing - please do it
but i belive you will stay at place where are 80% traders investors are - buy low
and sell week later higher (and they are pretty angry when is not rising after week -
but they will never move finger make coin better )

Luckily BC have community who works for them once slowly once faster all have right to do what they want
no one can stop them(at end we are not demanding hard dead lines )
i am happy that we have such people because of them BC is still exist and moves

I agree. I'm currently waiting for my BTC to confirm on Mintpal at the moment. I buy Blackcoin weekly and this 45 to 60 minute wait for 3 confirmations just strengthens my resolve and belief in this coin. I'm looking forward to the day when people realise that POS is the way to go.

Very addicting...but still believe we are at the birth of something and we will all be very happy we started believing in it in this early.
