I want the BC girls do mud wrestling on Wall Street..... oh wait that's the other thread.

That's not a bad idea at all.

and not hard to set up actually,

just some cheap big inflatable pool, some water and mud and off you go. that would get ALOT of attention.

also could do a wet t shirt contest at the end, best one gets a BC reward, same with the wrestling

A  Quick note to all designers out there making stuff for Blackcoin
The Fonts used are as follows:

The B letter we all love is Colonna MT
The word "Blackcoin" under it is in Century Schoolbook

other than that its all up to you

Wow!! The BlackCheque looks fantastic, I can't wait to get my hands on one!

RE: Wallet - Would it be possible to have 2FA using one of those little electronic authenticators or possibly an app such as Google Authenticator ?

I have no idea about the coding side of alt coins, but I think a big issue relating to the adoption of bitcoin and other altcoins are its insecurities (theft) through malware or keyloggers.

What does everyone think ?

Simplest solution is a QT wallet that requires a 2FA to authenticate and initialize the process. I'm sure it exists already, however.

McKie

Actually we have looked extensively into this and it is not possible to do this with the current setup of a QT wallet. I think maarx can do the technical explanation.

Ahh really, that is a shame! Perhaps the foundation could put forward a bounty to redesign the wallet ? I do not really know much about this side of crypto currencies so, feel free to correct me if my ideas are wrong!

I think that if we want widespread adoption we should make a more user friendly wallet, possibly with a video tutorial detailing all the functions of the wallet and how to safely back up / secure the wallet.

I think cryptos are still really a unknown concept for most people so anything we can supply to make it easy and intuitive will be a big bonus.

Many others have had this same sentiment since Bitcoins conception. I'm not sure if anyone has actually gone the extra mile to make changes. I think people are fearful of change because the basic BitcoinQT method is tried and true, and is trusted. Any major alterations might turn early adopters off who are afraid of risk of losing their coins, obviously this could be deterred by it being open sourced, and having it audited before major use.

Yes, that sounds perfect! How do we get that implemented on the BlackCoin wallets for Mac, PC and Android ?

Who developed the wallets, is it the dev (rat4) or someone independent ?

Rat4 did all stuff on top of Bitcoins pre-existing open source build of the Bitcoin QT wallet. I would assume that the QT requires certain permissions to access your network in a way to download and pull blocks that would make it so a traditional 2FA system would be impossible to implement given the current structure of the program. I'm not sure what language the QT is written in, but I'll bet its C or C++.

BlackCheque - I love it!

I LOVE this thread now!

I love the concept. Who would have thought in the world of DIGITAL CURRENCY we would still value the use of paper. Lol

Will buy 3 if gold dust comes out when I pull out the paper.
