 Hello All

 I'm new to Blackcoin

How many coins to I need  per block size for staking and weight   to get started ?

any help will be appreciate .
  thank you

Five thousand coins stakes about once a week looks like, not sure if thats average or not

sounds about right, i'm starting to feel exchange wallets staking makes it more difficult for the rest of us under PoS3 :\  My wallet shows 3 hours estimated for staking but can take a over day before a stake hits, then other days i might 3 or 4, then 1.

Would be nice if BLK combined inputs as well instead of always splitting, or if there is an option to prevent splits after staking?

OK
Thanks ROKOS, I've been waiting on this Pi 3 support for BlackCoin, I put a tweet out for you as well. Just got the .img burned to my SD and going to give it a try. Grin
This took me about 1 1/2 hrs. maybe less (I wasn't really timing it) to totally set up while I was doing other things such as alerting peeps on IRC and Twitter that this had been released, the setup is virtually dummy proof once you get the user options for the OS setup. Thanks again ROKOS!

A pleasure, updating resources (git and site) to start sharing over social networks, already RTd yours,
thanks a lot for your support and feedback, very glad you enjoy the new features of V6, got fully rebuilt. Njoy.

What is the final amount of blackcoins to ever be in circulation?

1.5 BLK/minute , 2160 BLK/day, 788400 BLK/year
in 100 years from now 154264359 BLK

final amount ∞
Oh damn, I was hoping it was a limited supply, this definitely makes me rethink my strategy.
will you live 100 years and then buy ?
my strategy is buying and staking

I prefer a limited supply that gets scarcer with time, especially for POS so there isn't a constant game of cat and mouse.

You should look at http://unobtanium.uno/
Total supply   250,000.00
Looks to only be POW not POS or hybrid.

all POS coins have theoretical supply of infinity...
but in a very long time
to get to 100 million BLK, need to wait more 31 years
i'm not sure if i will live that long Smiley

Avatars are overrated.
Must say wallet is very good looking and working fine, but consuming resurse insanely!
I think the future belongs to fast wallets and instant syncing and maybe even wallets with web support..

running blackcoin-qt on my old laptop and runs perfect
~1GB of RAM usage, and tops to 2% CPU usage
I'd venture to guess that this is a linux and possibly just arm architecture issue since my windows wallet seems fine as well.

Black is eating my pi resources hard. 100% cpu style. Is there a lite wallet that is arm compatible?
I have some old laptop and when i open wallet problems acquire. Not one time my pc was freezed, how this problem can be overcomed? I'm already very far from synchronizing. Actually is there any other working wallet? android?
yeah i have an android tablet so that solution would work for me as well. good thinking. not sure why it peaks my cpu so hard honestly.

Supply of mined coins is limited, extras come from interest produced from staking
