What just happened ?

lol https://exco.in is sleeping... buy buy buy

Most of the liquid BLK on Exco.in was bought, more has been added to the market but even more would be better when this happens again. We would like to remind members interested in selling should try out our platform. We have continuous proof of reserves, full featured API and we hold all our profit and capital in BLK.

As a Blackcoin believer, exco.in is the best exchange to be.

In case you weren't aware, multigateway supports Blackcoin, Doge, BTC and Nxt.

It is the most decentralised trading platform to date and works on three multi-sig servers approving transaction.

See Multigateway.org for more info.

Man this exchange is BS. Its not decentralized. There are 3 servers and who has access to them ? 1 person. No thx.

Was that a question? Sounded like FUD. The correct answer is in the link above. I said multigateway was the most decentralised. I read the first line of holytransaction "universal crytpocurrency wallet with instant exchange". Unless they have solved the long standing problem of Atomic Cross Chain Transactions (I.e. CIYAMs Automated Transactions), this screams and writes in big red letters "100% centralised". 1 guy, a la Mintpal and Mount Gox.

The three Multigateway servers are run by three different businesses that have an interest in seeing it succeed, each server has been implemented slightly differently. And you need to hack all three. If you can do that, there is no central hot wallet. Funds are spread evenly across n accounts so you might only get 0.5-10 btc? If you're capable of all that, why not just hack 1 centralised exchange and take 100's of Btc from theit hotwallet?

If you know of a more decentralised way of trading between different blockchains than Multigateway, I'd like to know about it.

I honestly don't think it would be that difficult to build a truly distributed and decentralized exchange unfortunately most cryptocurrency devs are too wrapped in the idea of using gimmicks to create pump and dump coins they can profit from in the short term.

A truly decentralized market wouldn't be profitable for the developer (beyond maybe donations), and it wouldn't need to be tied to any particular coin. Anytime you see a "decentralized" market tied to a particular coin, it probably is just part of a pump strategy.

What I would like to see is a decentralised betting platform based on unbreakable contracts where the users can offer bets on any sports or result. No middle man and no fees. This could create a huge liquidity for blackcoin as the betting business is huge and many betters would get interested in cryptos if they could bypass the middlemans fees.

Last I heard is that this would require the Halo to have a good API. I have no idea if that is implemented already.

If you have control over the funds and the private keys you can call it decentralized, unless the operators can access those private keys..

Not trying to promote this or something, but check this out - https://holytransaction.com/

It's a "Universal" wallet and you can store blackcoins and buy them directly from your wallet, the down side is that you don't control the private keys.

Anyone using this ? Are they planning a multi-currency exchanges/buys(doge to blackcoin) ?

I have used it, I think it is a great service but I am unsure of how secure it is.

nothing wrong with promoting it, we actually have a prominent link to their service @BLK subreddit Smiley

not using webwallets myself, but i know that many BLK-holders use holytransaction, most trustworthy (BLK-supporting) web wallet along with CoinKite as far as i know.
