I had the same problem added a couple of the pools and it synced.

I just added all of these and it still won't sync. Any new nodes out there?

With the 101 wallet I had no problem solo mining. Installed new QT and getting bad creds. Went back to old wallet, same thing. Changed creds in conf and on the miner command line, same thing. So for now it's not letting me solo mine. I'll dig into it later, so for now on to some other coin.
