Same problem. not synced. not connected.
It connects for 3 sec. and disconnects right after.

Only starting it from time to time.
It doesn't connect to peers. I've tried to add some nodes you listed above and none of them appeared on Peers list.
I've tried -reindex and now it's stuck at reindexing. I think I will delete and start again.
I will keep waiting today and give you a feedback later.

Sorry but my wallet is still synced and so I couldn't tell you the reason. Did you leave your wallet open 24/7 and it lost sync or do you start it only from time to time and how many connections do you have?

Since there has been some confusion and some half-baked lists, here is the actual list of currently running BCI nodes that are accepting incoming connections on given port:

I got help on discord.

I imported the wallet with 1800 coins in it to the windows wallet.

and some how only got access to 70 of the 1800 coins which pretty much makes no sense at all

the mac wallet says I have 1800 coins the explorer address says I have 1730 coins

I do not understand how only 70 of the 1800 got moved and accessed by me.

Still working on the issues and I am not comfortable keeping 4500 coins in the windows wallet i sold them and took my lumps.

If I ever free the 1730 coins I will hold them.

edit I sold all the window wallet coins  and converted to ltc.

I have about 1730 stuck in the mac wallet.

I am trying a new method to free them.

I made a new windows wallet from scratch . imported address and key.

waiting on the  new wallet to scan from august 30 2018

if these show in the new wallet it should be fixed and I will hold them.

Edit:

this worked I now have  130 of the 1730 coins in the new wallet and it is scanning as i type.

I thinking the rescan done  when I transferred the address and keys to the first windows wallet was not a full one so 70 coins were found this time the new wallet is doing the entire blockchain from August 2018.

So I now have my new windows wallet with coins showing up.

Since I sold 4500 coins at low price i put them into LTC which moved up a bit.

I can simply go back to mine and holding this new wallet.

not that sure.  I mine on it and  I may stop mining due to this wallet issue.

So I have decided to sell all my bci with the exception of the stuck coins.

I sold about 3000 of 4500 that I can move around.

I will sell the other 1500 in the next two or 3 days.

I will then see if I can free the 1730 coins stuck in the mac wallet.

Windows is fine.

Browser is fine.

Mac finally synced from Jan 19 to feb 16.

On block 25199 it stopped.

That is core 0.15.1

I load core 0.16.1 for Mac it crashes.
I have five macs it crashes on each and every Mac.

It crashes with Mac OS

10.14.3
10.13.6

I never run more then one wallet.

So I know that is not it.

Some how the code for the Mac 0.16.1 does not work .

But the code for the Mac 0.15.1 stops at feb 16.

So I can not upgrade the Mac wallet
I can not synch the old wallet.
I have 1800 coins in it.
And I am truly annoyed since it means I can not trust the safety of the coins .

If the wallet is not fixed it does not matter if it is Apple os to blame or the wallet software.

It means that your offline core wallet can be disabled and you can’t get the coins.
For a coin that is meant to be staked it is pretty much a disaster.

Yeah   I got my windows to synch I followed your directions.

I kept 2 wallets  well 3 wallets

1 windows
1 browser
1 mac


so windows works
browser works

mac is fucked up.

It finally began to synch  and moved from Jan 19 to Feb 16

it now shows 1800.1 coins which is correct.

but  it is frozen at  block 25199  which was  Sat the 19th.

This is really annoying as I am mining these coins at the rate of 200 a week

I have 1800 in the mac
I have 4200 in the windows.

The whole point it to hold coins and stake.

They are safe in the wallet.

this is nice but  if the wallet never gets fixed they are stuck.

it can happen to the windows wallet
it can happen to the linux wallet
or the electrum wallet.

they shut down the old wallet 0.15.1 and do not let it synch and want you to go to the 0.16.1

works for windows  not for mac.

basically  even though it is my wallet  on my machine they have effectively locked me out of it.  Granted  I know it is not on purpose.  But it shows they could do it on purpose.  And this is a staking coin.

they brag about wallet in your own hands.

Damn I really wanted to mine this for all of 2019  and now  I have to rethink  it.

I may sell off all my windows wallet coins and move to a new coin if they do not fix it soon.

Can't Mac users run Windows with Bootcamp or Parallels? It might be worth trying if nothing else works.

With the windows Core wallet I have never run in any kind of trouble and it is still open 24/7.
Sorry but I'm not familiar with mac I hope you can get help from someone else!

No I do not have a working mac wallet.
The old version does not synch.
The new version crashes when opened.

I will need to figure out how to empty the coins and I am not sure how.

So to those that say a core wallet is good and secure and the core is yours it is not perfectly true.

The developer can disable the core you use.  So If I could get some help on pulling these 1800 coins out it would be nice.

So I got burned with 2 eth coins when they where cheap when that wallet was fucked with.
Never could unlock the coins.

As of today I don't know how to unlock these coins  and this is really annoying.

This means any coin can have its wallet broken by any developer  which pretty much means crypto is

worthless.  Some one please tell me I am wrong here.

If true this means mac os can disable my core wallet thus causing me to lose coins.

I have had windows  disable a wallet or two and delete the exe to run it.  even with multiple windows defender exclusions.  I got around that.

But this all looks bad for many crypto coins.  And I am really annoyed  not so much with the 1800 coins that are now stuck here
