I notice forked coin launches are always sketchy as to when it really happens. From scratch coins seem to be on target and have a nice countdown clock lol  Grin

ok.  ill mine with suprnova.  but what BTCP wallet do i use?
As an established member of this forum has said mining talk is ok, I advise suprnova as you simply use your worker name in the -zwal parameter and don’t need an address. For the official wallet check the GitHub or homepage, beware of any others than the official as they might be illegitimate wallets.

you can mine in https://btcp.multipools.club without wallet and add your address later when you have the official wallet! Smiley

Can someone tell me,testnet is work for now?
Miner cant connect to:

btcp.multipools.club

btcp.suprnova.cc

testnet working on bitcoin private pool

testnet is down in btcp.multipools.club.

Stratum is now disabled and will come UP when mainnet is live. So if you connect your miners, when mainnet is up you will start mining automatically!

For questions PM me on telegram/btcp discord Smiley

Suprnova

Pool is ready for mainnet and awaiting launch - which will be at around 16.15 UTC - stratums will then automatically start. You can test your Rigs on every other Equihash Pool - for example https://zec.suprnova.cc. If they work there, they'll work here.

I think suprnova pool to start off with. Though this isn’t a mining talk thread and there are separate mining boards in this forum, so we should be respectful of that. https://btcp.suprnova.cc
Yes you can talk mining here.

I just made a mistake and posted that we went live, but that was in fact the dev fee connecting and mining on my rig, hmf. Apologies to anyone who saw that, I deleted it very quickly after noticing.

The failure to connect on suprnova is universal. Pool is showing 0 workers and 0.00 MH/s for those ITT with this issue.

As no one is able to connect it’s likely that we’re just waiting for the main pool to go live quite soon, so I’m leaving my rigs on, retrying to connect at the default of 20s. I was mining on testnet with the same settings as now so there’s no issue with settings. Suprnova pool operator is also advising people to test their rigs on the ZEC pool now which also increases probability that we are simply waiting for the main pool to go live.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
Approx 5:30h  - 6h left until mainnet.. Everything ready here and yes, all settings will remain the same - you can just keep on mining like on testnet.
Will you be faster than bitcoin private mining pool? Smiley)

As soon as the Next Network Block Number here:

https://btcp.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

hits 278458

The pool will automatically be live Smiley

The price on Bittrex is amazing. It goes to show how Bittrex trades are fake bots. How the hell would buy at 3x the price of all other exchanges.

But I personally think the sell of on ZCL had no reason and the price could go back up to at least $80.

BTCP when starts trading could start at $200. Will see where it goes from there but if you ask me its at least worth as much as half of BCH or $600 so if starts trading at $200 it could run up after that.

If I remember correctly development for ZCL will stop completely. I doubt the price will go up again. Or has there someone been found now to continue the dev work?
Yes, it will stop.
But the market sometimes is quite a funny thing, and stopped development might sometimes be better than continued but screwed up.
ZCL is a good foundation, without greedy lines of code of Zcash and Zencash. And it can survive as a starting point of some privacy hardforks and one of the "default" coin. It was pumped and dumped, nothing new or unusual.

A not so unlikely scenario is that a capable developer will buy up ZCL at very low prices and then announces to continue development. As you say the code base is solid.
