This is pretty much the first time of me hearing about a project selling off its tokens in a private sale, which is really something to talk about, well i guess investors must have seen a lot of potentials embedded in the project, the project is fully loaded with awesome entertainment, they have a multimedia section that developers can use to create some entertaining app

I think those investors are very smart people who know the latest tendencies of the market and what will be in demand in the near future. DApps will definitely be. And you can imagine what demand will be in this case for the development system for making DApps.

They are indeed smart and for the fact that the industry is filled with scammers, they ought to be, lets not forget that its there hard earned money that they are trying to invest and they know that the future is heading towards the IoT industry, its limitless and the potential that it has is too numerous to mention and that to me will be a money spinner

Lack of ico wasn’t a mistake it was a pretty good feature it means they got backing from outside sources in a closed manner due to people being so behind the project. Which shows in the fact the teams already published a good bit of code

I do not know an exact date, all I can tell you is that the Xmax team have made the mainchain their number one priority and it will be released at some point in 2019.

it's good. that the team has such ambitious plans. however, why wait so long? why can not that be done in 2018?

Xmax want to make sure they have polished off their front end and also made sure their platform is ready for use, no point jumping the gun if they are not ready. They also need to wait until they have enough interest from developers, no point in releasing the platform until people have shown interest in creating DAPPs or commited themselves to the Xmax project.

There is a minimum amount of work you should have done already before announcing a new project and the website is part of that.

Yes exactly even though the website isn’t the actual platform it serves an important purpose as it attracts developers and investors. It’s like a great cover for a book or a nice window arrangement for a store, you need to make a good first impression when you get peoples attention because this seals the deal.

Even if someone doesn't look at it in detail it should still be there. It is like the cake to the birthday party, it just has to be there when the party starts.

Lot of the things are ready to use for developers on their platform. This kind of platform will save lot's time of developers.
