IMPORTANT MANDATORY UPDATE TO YOUR BUMBACOIN WALLET.
TL/DR
1.
duplicate/backup the folder containing your current wallet - if it's an old one, it'll have the wallet.dat in it, and that's what you want most of all !! if it's a new one, you shouldn't be reading this.
2.
start the new wallet, then close it - this will create a new folder, depending on your version of windows it could be either = %appdata%\bumbacoin OR %appdata%\roaming\bumbacoin
3.
copy
bumbacoin.conf, and all the files from the old wallet folder into your newly created \bumbacoin folder
(except the old bumbacoin-qt.exe)
4.
restart the new one. should work. if not read the long version.
///
HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR BUMBACOIN WALLET.
Earlier versions of Bumbcoin wallet are all contained within a single folder. This folder contains all data necessary for your wallet to work.
NEWer versions use a separate folder for all these necessary data files.
When upgrading it will be necessary to copy certain files from your single folder, to another separate folder.
All coins in the bumbacoin universe are registered against specific addresses, and your wallet has certain unique addresses.
If you have any bumbacoin, it is important for you to safeguard your addresses. They are stored within the wallet.dat file.

first - for the OLDer wallet version make a copy of your entire bumbacoin folder. If anything goes wrong you should have a working backup copy. most important file is the wallet.dat.
second - download a copy of the NEW wallet. this contains a wallet : bumba-WINqt.exe and a bumbacoin.conf, you can either use the new bumbacoin.conf or copy the old one and rename it to the new data folder.
third - run it once, then shut it down. It will create the necessary folder, and other necessary files. The NEW wallet will have a NEW address and a zero balance, the NEW files are not important unless you want a brand NEW empty wallet.
fourth - here you have two different methods to move your balance to your NEW wallet.
one -You can send them from your OLD wallet to the NEW address like any other transaction. You will need the new bumbacoin.conf file. see below for details of where to copy it to.
Then leave your NEW wallet open until it is totally up to date and synced, then get a copy of your NEW address, close the NEW, open the OLD, again make sure it is synchronised and send them across to the NEW address.
BUT if you're going to do that you may as well copy everything over. lolz ho ho ho
Or
two - You can replace the files in the NEW data folder with the OLD ones.
The NEW data folder should be reasonably easy to find
either %appdata%\bumbacoin OR %appdata%\roaming\bumbacoin
In a windows explorer window, you can enter the folder location as
%APPDATA%
and go from there
You can just copy these file/folders across.
folders : blocks, chainstate
files : coin.conf, peers.dat, wallet.dat
then change the name of coin.conf -> bumbacoin.conf
Then you can start your NEW wallet again and it should successfully import everything in !!
\\\\ TROUBLES ////
the most important file is the wallet.dat, that holds all your bumbacoinz.
if the above doesn't work you can try just copying the wallet.dat and the coin.conf (again changing it's name to bumbacoin.conf)
If that doesn't work. Try removing everything from the NEW data folder, use thenew "bumbacoin.conf" file containing the information below, restart it, let it fully synchronise, then try sending coins from the OLD wallet to the NEW address.

if you want to make a new bumbacoin.conf, then add these to it
