Say I wanted to get a chain of dispensaries with 4 locations in on this coin. What's the pitch? What would I be asking them to do?

What is the plan though? Are you pitching it as a close knit group of people growing CANN for CANNdy or is it more like a payment system for any dispensary to use?

We are early pioneers in crypto/cannabis use and in order to make way for the future, we need to set an adoptable standard for other marijuana merchants all over the world.
The team is dedicated to experiment and document each step from "seed to finished product" for CannabisCoin use. That is what we are doing. We do not want a make shift process.
I am on the field going thru every process from growing, harvest, point of sale, tracking, documentation, legal, and more. We are progressing very fast! "Weed" like growth lol.
It's 4:20am and still working after a long trip last night.
Once we have the procedure in place we will start the transactions of CANN to GRAMS shortly and will better provide an adoption method for everyone.
EDIT: After that, we encourage everyone to start spreading CANN adoption.

This coin will be really good. Definitely support this coin. This coin has only been out for like 6 months. It'll take years to get as big as bitcoin. I'm thinking there will end up being quite a few of these coins which all together share a marketcap as big as bitcoin one day.
we all know MMJ is a new industry consisting of small startups led by forward thinking entrepreneurs - and ripe for digital currency adoption for the reasons said here before (like banking regs stopping cannabis transactions)
to get MMJ industry to actually accept a digital currency, it needs *entrepreneurs* to go out and meet other entrepreneurs face to face and explain the benefits and grow the currency like a business in the industry (its not a business exactly, but it needs business people to get it accepted)
so which weed coins are just a gimmick with an ANN and lot of big claims that might convince your average miners / day traders to punt on them until people realize they aren't backed by anything real, and which coin has real entrepreneurs who are actually going out and meeting merchants and working to get the coin accepted in real world?
hmmm.....
lets see in a few months how many mmj coins there are, based on what we can see CANN actually doing in the real world versus other coins trying to FUD or copy everything CANN does whilst hiding behind a laptop screen
EDIT: consider the difference between people who just run an ANN and post part-time, to people who put real time & money into growing a business out in the real world - the difference is massive, 95% of alts are the former, CANN is the latter. Big difference.

This reminds me of getting into bitcoin when they were 15 cents each
Except for the fact that there are 3 other marijuana coins (POT, DOPE and CCN) and there will probably be 20 more marijuana coins coming out next year. Also unlike bitcoin, no one is interested in working together. So much greed going on. You don't see much open source 3rd party development going on exclusively for this coin. You only see the third party stuff that randomly adds in 20 good coins to their service.
Now people try to act like these coins are companies. Anyone with something valuable to add to a coin starts their own coin.
This reminds me more of Potcoin than Bitcoin. A tiny group of people who do everything and no one new wanting to join in.

He is "TheAdamGarrity" "DayWalkerNeo" @altcoinNavy @altcoinArmy and other accounts. On c-cex he uses "ATR" and others.
He was NOT a dev but a day trader whom was out for his own benefit.
Just ignore him and move on.

Good news everyone, we are now on version 0.8.6.3. This is not a major release and if you already have a working client installed you can skip this one, however if you are a new user or are unable to connect then this new release is for you.
What we have done is created a DNS seeder for the CannabisCoin network. When the client first connects to the network it asks the seeder for a list of other clients to connect to. Without a DNS seeder you will have problems connecting which is why there was addnode information shared on the first post in this thread, those addnode entries were a way of manually specifying other clients to connect to. We can now do away with addnode information as clients will now automatically connect to the network.
On top of this a small list of pnSeeds have also been defined in the client source code, these are simply other clients to connect to if the DNS seeder is down, it is like defining addnode information in the source code. This update is the first in many to help develop the CannabisCoin client and network.
Small point to note, the dark interface wallet has been retired. Alternative or improved interfaces will no doubt be returned to in the future.
In case you missed it I recently joined the CannabisCoin development team, I am the lead developer from Feathercoin where I still spend a lot of my time.
