People need to understand the dev doesn't literally need 70 million grams of weed for the price to reflect it, it just needs the speculative value. You think the US dollar's value or any other nation's currency is backed just on the 1:1 assets the US government owns for instance?
The backing is just a support structure for a broader real-world use currency, this makes more sense than giving a billion dollar valuation to Litecoin for instance just because it was Bitcoin with a scrypt algo.

They are going to have to grow/sell a lot of marijuana to make 1 CANN = $10. It can be done if they become the biggest dispensary chain in North America. I wouldn't expect to see $10 a coin for another 5 years.
I do not understand why any dispensary would ever sell any cannabis at a 1:1 ratio for CANN unless CannabisCoin gave the dispensary CANNdy for free.
If in Amsterdam and Espagna accepte the coin and make 20% discount if we buy Cannabis coin in the coffee shop or association the market will be the most expansive.. don't forget the cannabis make milliard of dollar every years.

I'm pretty sure they don't get it completely free, but more of a discount card!! Plus most people that smoke here probably don't have insurance!!! You get yours probably free, we have to pay!!
One of the great things about CANN is that patients in Arizona can purchase their marijuana at a 99.9% discount right as soon as CANNdy is released for sale.

Many states recognize medical cannabis as legal. The federal government however still views it as a controlled substance.
