They pre-mined the coins...

coin swapping was issued after a pre-mine by the dev team occurred...and does not mean there was no pre-mine. I'd like to see accountability for the transfer of wealth from scrypt to x11 handled by the dev team.

CANN Dev was used as a form of centralized exchange to distribute coins back to old scrypt miners... there is no blockchain for these transactions as they were exchanged off any service tracking the transactions and managed by the dev team centrally, technically going against crypto and satoshi.


this does not explain the 500k addresses which I am seeking transparency for.

I was interested in this post so I grabbed the first of the 500,00 addresses and drilled down into the transaction for that deposit and found that it hadnt been picked up by that address:

The others are the same. Which means the coins are sitting on the block chain and not in the wallet. Did they destroy these coins?

I’d like to have an open transparent discussion about the pre-mined coins behind Cannabis Coin (CANN). I believe the information below is in the best interest of all those investing in CANN as a cannabis crypto.
 
Lets get to the facts.
 
- CANN was originally launched as a scrypt based mining protocol/algorithm and shortly thereafter transitioned to X11 for fear of ASIC technology that may cause a negative impact to the fairness of mining scrypt.
 
- CANN decided ‘it would it be a good sacrifice' to drop the blockchain altogether and completely re-launch. This required all miners to update their coins and trade them directly to the dev team for their new X11 coins.
 
- The reluach of CannabisCoin (CANN) contained a pre-mine block of 21,882,000 CANN located here: http://chainz.cryptoid.info/cann/block.dws?1.htm
 
- 25+ addresses contain 500k coins EACH directly linked to the pre-mined address and still sit untouched over 130 days, creation date aprox June 12, 2014..
 
- All 25 wallet address were payed in single payments (500k coins) in short succession, block after block as a pre-pared and planned payment. This does not indicate a number of coins rewarded to miners as the redistribution program was intended for.

This thread is in no way directed to be FUD or rumors, this intended for public review by the community as to get some answers.  It seems there is no information that I've been able to find regarding this transition and I'm sure there are other's would would like to know as well.

none, technically. The coin started as scrypt, the devs switched to x11 and premined enough to replace the coins by the miners from the old chain that is all. All the coins have been redistributed.

This coin for me don't need a news broadcast. For me it serves a sole purpose to help supply medicine for those who are not looking for a high. For me it provides a little relief from the mental depression that spending hard earned money to go toward cannabis for my aliments can cause. When you have to choose to spend anything extra you may have after the family expenses' to buy my medicine and help me make it to the next work day or the next bill without stressing over choosing my relief over my bills or food, clothing, gas, cigarettes, and yes anything extra that will make my children be just that, "smiling children". With the mental regret between choosing cannabis even after all the above mentioned, still has its toll on one who has the right to relief. This coin is a blessing and always will be. This coin will always have my support. No matter the cost because with it I SAVE money not make money so my children can be children and smile and at the end of the day that smile makes it all worth while

Did this coin make it on any news broadcast yet?

Well this coin rised very fast if u look at the value from 3 weeks ago and now we are very high. i remember when my wallet was worth like 0.005 btc. now its 1000x higher, even after the whales finaly get out.
We miss nothing now, just some bag holders left ( and that's a good thing! ).
Now people what see this cannabiscoin in the stores will get in to this cryptoworld for buy cannabis coin. So we leave the dump behind us and can move forward to a normall rising stable coin.

This is a normall and good thing, same happend with bitcoin also. it rised very fast, and after that some people what were afraid sold the coins, and after that it was rising again ( only slower but more stable )

Don't forget we have reall shop owners what back this coin, also a great dev team.

People like strato ( that guy what told already over 100 times he will leave this topic but 5 min later he post some FUD again .. ) are just not good for the cryptoworld. They should be a farmer, some1 who grow up cows and sell the meat when they get the profit they want.

You really expected to see the price keep going up?

* Supporting trendline broke
* Volume divergence
* Macd divergence
* RSI divergence
* It still tried (and failed) for a new high so you had a chance to sell at the top

And we're now in the OTE zone where you should be buying. I'm loading up 0.00005 to 0.00007 right now... I spotted this coin a few days ago when I saw the headlines "cann coin shoots for new highs as other pot coins crash" and I read "oh man it's about ready to tank, I should start watching it".

It was a softlaunch.

I think of it as giving advice.

I think it's my personality. I only become vocal when I see problems arise. You have been doing an excellent job with CANN and I praise you for all your amazing work. I noticed the "fine print" on the event poster and thought that the CANN community could do more. Over time I came up with a solution. We could have raised funds to supply patients with a full weeks presciption of medicine. So many people have become decently wealthy for the month due to CANN. I'm sure all of them would have donated a lot of money for the event.

This event was a big chance and ended up being a flop. Most likely because no sick person wants to travel half way around Arizona for a pre-rolled joint. Don't most sick people use vaporisers or eat cannabis anyways?
