Just don’t forget that you can only contribute from ETH address that you have specified in your KYC. You MUST NOT send ETH from exchange! You MUST NOT send ETH from wallet for which you do not hold the private key, or which does not support ERC20 tokens. Recommended gas price > 40 GWEI

Because of the smart contract mechanics, contributing to it requires a little more gas than a regular transaction. If you want to make transaction faster, hence raising your probability to secure your spot in the CargoX ICO before it reaches hardcap, you might want to raise both values! But do calculate how much you are paying for the transaction (we recommend using https://ethgasstation.info), as raising these values can become increasingly expensive.

WTF I wanted to submit KYC today and it is closed.

While I received an email last week with this sentence in it:

I am happy not participating in this east european shit ico when team is changing minds like a girl her cloths....

It seems that will happen there maybe dev will fix this issue and put some limit there. Actually hard cap is not so big that is why I think there is chance to get sold early so that could create this situation.

Everyone check out the experienced Cargox team and advisors. I like when ico has an experienced team in the field for a couple of years and cargox has a big team. On a beautiful and sunny Sunday afternoon, CargoX registrations have hit 10,000 approved KYCs.

In order to say thank you to our early community members — the ones who actually read our whitepaper and who believed in us since before media picked us up — we have decided to stop the registration/KYC process early.

Tomorrow we will peg the ETH/USD rate (7-day average) to get the final amount of ETH to be raised in CargoX ICO on Tuesday, 23 January 2018 @ 15:00 CET / 14:00 UTC. But even with personal cap limit set at 5 ETH for the first 3 hours of CargoX ICO, it looks like demand will be higher than supply. We don’t want to ignite a gas war, but we also believe in a free economy, therefore we stand by our decision not to limit gas or gas price.

Some other ICOs in a similar position have decided to raise their hard-cap, but we don’t believe this to be an appropriate solution.. Therefore the only logical thing to ease the ICO pressure a little bit was to close the registration doors early in order to avoid contributor oversubscription.

We will fight for XCO tokens in crowdsale

 

While we totally agree with Michael’s thoughts on crypto trends for 2018, we were shocked at the fact of how in-line with them CargoX really is.

Not only are we building a disruptively new services for logistics, we have a clear roadmap and rapid, step-by-step execution plan how to get there. While another big blue company, who we get asked daily about, is also doing “blockchain” and “logistics”, it is us, that the majority of logistics companies see as an independent, open and safe choice.

And once we deploy our MVP and end phase 1, the fun begins. We will enhance our blockchain Bill of Lading with new, yet-unseen things, such as on-chain payment and settlement, escrow-less automatic transfer of cargo ownership by a smart contract and new entities. To round out our ecosystem, we will open doors to all entities needed in the world of logistics. These non-native value-added partners for logistics are insurers, quality-control services, financial services, IoT integrators etc…

We will allow them to connect in a smart way to offer an easy to use, possibly automatic services that will enhance the platform and the user experience. This specialized yet open, trustless ecosystem won’t function unless all parties agree on a common way of doing things. And having smart contract in the middle of everything really solves this dilemma. At the end, standardization is just pure math, unless powers that be, degrade it into a political question.

Although we are beginning our journey with a total focus on MVP and its first field pilot, this short glance into the future reveals that we already know we’ll be a disruptive ecosystem that will also be one of the most vocal standardisation forces for the outdated world of logistics.
