Smart Contracts are immutable: they cannot be changed after deployment, only replaced. This goes along with the original idea of a trusted blockchain environment, but makes it difficult to maintain and upgrade them.

To mitigate these issues, EIP-2535 proposes a sophisticated proxy pattern, which allows the addition, replacement, and removal of functions and virtually removes any constraint on the code size; and an innovative storage layout, which is collision-resistant and very flexible.

Market conditions are good to fill coffers with CTSI as bear market is not forever and nowadays' work will show up when trends will turn around. I'm following this thread and still see no one who'd competed with Cartesi on making blockchain operating system so I expect CTSI will show it's best in the future!

It was really interesting to read an article dedicated to actual road map of a project: we can see that some technical tasks were done (like Echo DApp example for developers who would be interested in using of Cartesi facilities), some are being in work right now (like architecturing own network), some are in plans (like blockchain OS). Expect to see how the system will work when OS would be implemented, as IMHO it is a really prospective idea for crypto.

It depends on your purposes. If you are asking for a financial advice then DYOR. And if we are talking about the perspectives of a project, then idea of decentralized operating system for blockchain is still actual and IMO has a bright future. We never know which project will succeed the most in this but from my point of view Cartesi is at the forefront of implementing this conception. But all these are my expectations and not are financial advises.
