Hi,

I'm the creator of the Catcoin logo and Catcoins.org.

I released a bunch of different size logos for you to use in your projects. I also uploaded the .ai vector file.

More sizes

Let me know if you need any other sizes.

Thanks!

Guys, please be honest and stop asking for donations.
I think now we need to donate to developer and for other purposes - giveaways will be ok.

Stop asking for donations? I hope you're not talking about me.. I've created a forum which ive spent my own money and time into it. Ive donated WELL OVER 500-catcoin on giveaways to get the community together, I've promoted the coin everywhere and answered numerous questions to the newbies, & i cant ask for a few donations to help pay for the cost of running the website which includes paying for advertisements and custom plugins oh and also for other giveaways i will be hosting in the future?

To me that sounds unfair.

fucking stupid people

get this on news doge vs cats
doge was world wide on the news
make it happen to cat, those who know how to

I agree it's a great idea. But we'd need to pitch it to a lot of crypto blog sites. I don't know that many. If we can start getting a list together of blog sites about crypto currencies that would be a start.

cant we rss it directly to blog sites or get a news press release https://portal.prnewswire.co.uk/web/guest/home

I think a raffle prize of 10 x 10 Catcoins, with an entrance fee of say 750 Dogecoin would be fair. All Dogecoin proceeds can then be directly converted back into Cat Coins to fund the next giveaway.

Starting to see why pre-mined is a good idea?

Hah. No. It's the very fact that this coin wasn't premined that it's going to take off. One of the fairest launches I've seen on this forum. Ok the launch didn't go off hitch free, but what coin does now?

I don't think the dev expected it to take off like it did. That's why we should donate more Cat Coins to him. The more he has, the more invested he is in his own coin, and the more he will be willing to contribute.

I think Cat Coin is in an amazing position. With all the crap coins being launched every day, this one stands tall above the rest as a serious long-term altcoin.

How much cat coin have you donated? How many people do you think will donate? Do all of the donations go to further developing the coin? Do any actually go to the people who are doing the work?

I have done two giveaways so far. The coins were given to me by two donaters to host the giveaways. I've also contributed a small amount in handing out well over 200 seperate transactions. I also have some Spare Cat that I will contribute to future Cat Coin projects if I think the project will boost Cat Coin's profile. I have about 30+ Cat Coin left for Giveaways, and I have been helping out as much as possible since the beginning.

if you look through the thread Nullu has given a lot of time and effort to catcoin

I wouldn't doubt that any single person did or would. Would you agree Nullu is one of the very few putting that much effort in? Also in terms of donation, would you agree that Nullu has given away maybe $200 worth? Then I have to ask, many people are willing to match what Nullu has done? Is it a handful?

The discussion I am having isnt about Nullu at all specifically.

I wouldn't want to put a figure on it. I feel that all I have given is my time and my passion. There are a handful of others who have also donated their time in the same way. OrkneyCoiner, aleksand and kisa2005 being a few who have given and done a lot too.

how in the hell is the difficulty 172 already?!?! didn't mining start only like 7 or 8 days ago?!

It's basically the Scrypt version of Bitcoin. Lower supply and higher difficulty than most other altcoins.

Maybe you can piggyback on the popular appeal of DOGE by having some sort of tombola where people send 10,000DOGE or so and have a chance at getting big CAT rewards back. Maybe it could work that the more you send, the bigger your chances of winning the big CAT prize. You could fund it this way too, and have stretch goals to increase the big CAT payouts by sending x amount of DOGE.

This would convert a lot of DOGE into CAT and steal some of the DOGE community too.

Hah! That's a great idea! I'm going to add that idea to a list of future giveaways. We could do a small raffle. Send x amount of doge to win a chance of winning y cat. Provided you get the amount of x and y right, it would work.

EDIT: Just had a good idea for this; all the Dogecoin proceeds can be used to buy up more Cat Coins for future giveaways.  Grin

Starting to see why pre-mined is a good idea?

to his credit the dev followed what the people wanted... but i see 0.5% premine as a good thing personally.. Just as i said erlier people dont want a premine but also dont want to donate... there has to be funds for development somewhere

Agreed. I wish more people were able to look into the near future. Personally, I find it hard to invest my time in a non-pre-mined coin, I don't see any future for the coin. People arent going to devote a potion of their lives to give other peoples coins value for nothing.

For the most part i agree but with this coin i think you will find that people will donate as much time as they can because the pay off in the long run will be quite substantial ... I think that this is a coin for thinkers and people want this to be on par with bitcoin 1:1 as such people will give their time becuse they know the future is bright for catcoin

Investing in the Dev and other Cat Coin projects is investing in Cat Coin. Your directly promoting its growth and value. People aren't just giving away coins for nothing. They're investing in their own coins.

To be honest it does stand out as a superior product.. to other coins with care and attention it should bve around a long time unlike the pump and dump coins look at fedora tips for example
