Does anyone understand PPLNS?

Is it more or less profitable to join a PPLNS with more or less hash power, or is it meaningless?

It's meaningless as long as you don't hop between pools, and try to only stop mining right when a block's been found.

Yeah, that much I understood. Wanted to try my luck at a pool with 0% fees. At this difficulty level I don't even know if it's worth trying on 250khash/sec.

With less hashpower you want PPLNS over prop. Proportional allows pool hoppers to 'steal' from non-hopping miners and thus honest people get less.  The more relative hashpower others have over you corresponds to how much you can possibly lose from hoppers with a prop payout system.

PPLNS will introduce more variance (especially for low hash power miners) but will always be fair.

That makes sense. Thanks.

I want one too, throw this guy some CATs!

    I have more of them.

This is solid state model (SolidWorks and i'm engeneer, not artist), but i made it for render.
Anyway it can be printed on 3d printer (i don't plan it, so you need very good printer and
dimentions are awful (0.1mm details, diameter 126mm thickness 7mm)).
Jesus that is beautiful.

Guys we need an exchange to accept this coin..

IT will come be patient, even though difficulty increased 4 X, hashrate went up

You know crypto currency is backed by hashpower, the coin itself is not very relevant

what is relevant is that it contains hashpower within it, just like a silver coin contains silver, one coin with silver can be a little more popular then the next one, but if it contains silver folks wanna buy it, our silver is scrybt hahspower

Not bad, but I think the cat logo will look nicer if it wasn't embossed and the text didn't have texture fill. Use a solid color to make it cleaner.

yep agree much better thanks for the ideas loz
