I mean the over the top meme nature of being compared to dogecoin. The other cat based coin called "kittehcoin" around here gives off such a bad meme-y vibe that I can not see that one being viable at all in the long term. Added more to my post before you quoted mine. Compared to that one, Catcoin looks super serious. There are several points that I do agree with you as explained in my post edit. I believe this coin can make it in the long run, I mean if we have anoncoin and bbqcoin, why not? Cats have been in culture throughout history and the internet is practically made at cats. Just..catcoin needs a more focused devteam because this launch already created speculation. -- Just the wallet alone is proof of that. Many people will feel more confident if everything were there instead of hunting down a .dll and being worried if the .dll is legit or a virus.

But the other stuff, yeah. Haven't checked OP's post in awhile for updates, but thankfully I got all I needed from someone friendly on a tech forum I frequent to get the wallet working. The planning for Catcoin could have been a bit better and looking back at it now, maybe a New Years launch would have been more perfect. Enough time for everything to be up and ready without all the frantic running around that was done. What's done is done and this coin is stabilizing. If Catcoin goes for culture and less banking off of memes, it'll be taken more seriously. From Ancient Egypt to the Japanese, cats are adored and should be treated with respect.
