in your sample you say the port is 3334 but in getting started, its 3336, which one is correct ?

It's a bit high, 5000 = 100 blocks = 16h40 having 100% of all the blocks.

why is there so much anticipation i dont get it? Because of doge? Its not like its worth millions...
There are two factors to consider:
1. Hype behind other memecoins like Dogecoin.
2. This is the scrypt version of Bitcoin. Coins will be fairly rare and hard to mine compared to most new coins.
