Did not have the problem with neoscrypt

Hey all,

Running into an issue when trying to mine scrypt:n on my rig.  I have 5 - 1070 Ti's and the OS is Windows 10.  Everything works fine for about a minute or 2 and all of a sudden it will start throwing the errors below and mining will stop.  Anyone else run into this problem?  I have used many other algo's with no issues so far, scrypt:n is the only one that has given me problems.

Hello Epsylon3.

I have a question for you.
I see that in your ccminer you use cuda kernels.
But have you heard that besides the cuda cores there are also NVENC cores?
They work much faster - very quickly.
They have an SDK & API on the Nvidia website.
Maybe you can use it for your miner?

See Link NVIDIA: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-video-codec-sdk

Thank you! Is it possible to log into file and display data on the screen at the same time?

I am looking for the command that corresponds to -quitt ewbf, which serves to leave the ccminer in case of crash, but no answer ........

USE CONTROL-C --

CCminer will shut down if "control-c" is pressed will at the console window.  If CCminer does not respond, you may have to close the console window with stronger methods.       --scryptr

What could be causing this crash on line 219 ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda7.5? And when I click on close the program ...it will continue to mine.  It happens about once a day. Thx Smiley
Windows 8.1

Can someone plz show me what line 219 looks like?  Thx Smiley

you just need to add /usr/local/cuda-9.1/lib64 to ld config (see /etc/ld.so.conf.d samples) and type ldconfig then

and you can have multiple cuda runtimes (unlike what allow ubuntu packages)

Hi all,

Big fan of this miner on Windows, but I am looking to convert my miners to Linux for easier management.

Anyway, after a few false starts, I managed to set up CUDA9, and compile ccminer from latest code on github. But when I try to run it, I get this error:

Code:
ccminer: error while loading shared libraries: libcudart.so.9.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

/usr/local/cuda is symlinked to /usr/local/cuda-9.1 , and in /usr/local/cuda-9.1/lib64 where is a symlink for libcudart.so.9.1 -> libcudart.so.9.1.85

So, what should I be doing?

EDIT: Solved

In case someone is in the same situation, you can make a symlink to the libcudart.so.9.1.85 file in /usr/lib Smiley

I created a Dockerfile for tpruvot's ccminer with CUDA 9 enabled.
I've found that using docker simplifies the management of my Ubuntu mining rig.
No more 'screen' or writing systemd/init scripts!

Requires https://github.com/NVIDIA/nvidia-docker

If you find this useful, feel free to toss some coin my way.
