We've been slowly spinning up our streaming servers once again.

Looks like our new system is responding better to the constant DDOS attacks against our streaming machines and we should be able to stay online more Smiley

Great to hear you guys back online and have something to hear while developing!

Thanks! We've been able to hold up against the latest DDOS attack with a lot of help from our friends Smiley

We've got some exciting announcements coming soon Smiley

I just signed up on CoinChat (https://coinchat.org) and think it would be really cool to have Chain Radio on Coin Chat... Is this something you guys can work on? hehehe

We are checking in to this! Just saw the TechCrunch article for it and we will see if we can get it integrated. We've been discussing a lot of different chat options including rolling our own but having chat that let's listeners earn is a pretty cool concept Smiley

Our proper LTBcoin address is: 1J28Z3mk6CNUiuKYdmCXUkwqse8FssGsuM

We are likely going to merge our LTBcoin and bitcoin address soon as we are done accounting for the past month's license fees etc.

I am going to send you a message about NEMnews later this week Smiley

I sent you a little LTBcoin, I'll look out for that message  Smiley

Last Friday I was on air for the first time. Even though most of the listeners were asleep at my time of broadcasting, I had a blast.

The station has been steadily getting more listeners and momentum. It's a really nice project, and I'm very happy to be part of it Smiley.

Hate watching all of these DDOS attacks against you guys. You are a community site for the community and a few assholes keep messing that up but thank you for not just giving up and always fighting to keep it online.

Having said that, I also want to say that last night I tuned in and listened to the You Me and BTC Live coverage at Cryptolina and that was one of the coolest things I've ever heard.

I really hope you guys keep doing stuff like that, allowed me to feel like I had actually gone Smiley

Dude, thank you so much! I had a huge blast and I'm glad everyone loved it. The production was sketchy because I was using a free app on my phone haha but you're right, the content was wonderful. My favorite was the short time we spent with this guy. Thanks for listening!

It seems we've got them under control a bit for the time being at least. Sadly you can't place a streaming server behind CloudFlare so it takes a lot more traditional ways of fighting a DDOS to keep it under control.

Really great to hear that you liked it though. We are working to get various members of our team to more events in the near future.

I'm having no luck playing the .m3u in Ubuntu, (I'm trying it via RythmBox). Is anyone listening on a Linux machine that could point me in the right direction?

EDIT: I found the flash player, so that seems to be fine for the time being.

Thanks ChainRadio!

Hey crackerhead!

Thanks for sending us a message, we are heavy Linux users on this end as well so we are investigating the issue with the M3U link and are working on offering more listen options over the next few days.

We hope to have all of these added soon!

Thanks for listening!

Awesome, the in-browser flash player works fine for now. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! We are back after another DDOS attack and we are excited about getting the new options online!
